Good afternoon friends, may God bless you on this day.
Yesterday I shared a lot about the faith and just today in the morning meeting every Sunday that we have in the church where I congregate the message had a lot to do with this topic, today we talked about practicing or exercising faith and in the sacred scriptures we have many people who practiced that faith in the face of difficulties and adversities and emerged victorious from the hand of God. Here I share with you an entire chapter that is dedicated to faith where it describes all those great men and women who had faith in God and emerged victorious.
Hebrews 11:1-40
[1]Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will truly happen; It is what gives us certainty about the things we cannot see.
[2]Because of their faith, the people of old enjoyed a good reputation.
[3]By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed by the order of God, so that what we now see did not come from visible things.
[4]It was by faith that Abel presented to God an offering more acceptable than that presented by Cain. Abel's offering showed that he was a righteous man, and God approved of his offerings. Although Abel died a long time ago, he still speaks to us by his example of faith.
[5] It was by faith that Enoch ascended to heaven without dying, "he disappeared because God took him"; because before he was taken away, they knew him as a person who pleased God.
[6]In fact, without faith it is impossible to please God. Anyone who wishes to approach God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
[7]It was by faith that Noah built a large ship to save his family from the flood in obedience to God, who warned him of things that had never happened before. By his faith, Noah condemned the rest of the world and received the justice that comes through faith.
[8]It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave his land and go to another that he would give him as an inheritance. He left without knowing where he was going.
[9]Even when he came to the land that God had promised him, he lived there by faith, for he was like a stranger living in tents. So did Isaac and Jacob, who inherited the same promise.
[10]Abraham looked forward with confidence to a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God.
[11]It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a son, despite being barren and too old. She believed that God would keep his promise.
[12]So a whole nation came from this one man, who was almost dead as to having children; a nation with so many inhabitants that, like the stars in the heavens and the sand on the seashore, it is impossible to count.
[13]All these people died still believing what God had promised them. And although they did not receive what was promised, they saw it from afar and accepted it with pleasure. They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here in this world.
[14]It is obvious that those who express themselves like this hope to have their own country.
[15]If they had longed for the country from which they left, they might well have returned.
[16]However, they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.
[17]It was by faith that Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice when God tested him. Abraham, who had received the promises of God, was willing to sacrifice his only son, Isaac,
[18]even though God had told him: "Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will proceed."
[19]Abraham concluded that if Isaac died, God had the power to bring him back to life; and in a sense, Abraham received his son back from the dead.
[20]It was by faith that Isaac promised his sons, Jacob and Esau, blessings for the future.
[21] It was by faith that Jacob, when he was old and about to die, blessed each of Joseph's sons and bowed down to worship, leaning on his staff.
[22]It was by faith that Joseph, when he was about to die, confidently declared that the people of Israel would leave Egypt. He even ordered them to take his bones with them when they left.
[23]It was by faith that when Moses was born, his parents hid him for three months. They saw that God had given them an unusual son and they were not afraid to disobey the king's order.
[24]It was by faith that Moses, when he was grown, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter.
[25]He preferred to be mistreated with God's people than to enjoy the momentary pleasures of sin.
[26]He considered it better to suffer for Christ than to possess the treasures of Egypt, since he had his eye set on the great reward he would receive.
[27]It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt without fearing the king's anger. He remained firm on his path because he had his eyes fixed on the Invisible One.
[28]It was by faith that Moses commanded the people of Israel to celebrate the Passover and sprinkle blood on the doorposts so that the angel of death would not kill any of their first male children.
[29] It was by faith that the people of Israel crossed the Red Sea as if they were stepping on dry land, but when the Egyptians tried to follow them, they all drowned.
[30]It was by faith that the people of Israel marched around Jericho for seven days, and the walls fell down.
[31]It was by faith that Rahab, the prostitute, was not destroyed along with the inhabitants of her city who refused to obey God. For she had received the spies in peace.
[32]How much more do I have to tell you? It would take too long to tell you about the faith of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and all the prophets.
[33]By faith these people conquered kingdoms, ruled justly, and received what God had promised them. They closed the mouths of lions,
[34]They put out flames of fire and escaped death by the edge of the sword. His weakness became strength. They became powerful in battle and put entire armies to flight.
[35]There were women who welcomed their dead loved ones back alive. However, others were tortured, because they refused to deny God in exchange for freedom. They put their hope in a better life that comes after the resurrection.
[36]Some were ridiculed and their backs were lacerated with whips; others were chained in prisons.
[37]Some were stoned to death, others were cut in half with a saw, and others were killed with the sword. Some walked around dressed in sheepskins and goatskins, dispossessed and oppressed and mistreated.
[38]This world was not worthy of them. They wandered through deserts and mountains, hid in caves and holes in the ground.
[39]Because of their faith, all of these people enjoyed a good reputation, although none of them received all that God had promised them.
[40] For God had prepared something better for us, so that they would not become perfect without us.

Amen, today each of us can have that victory in Christ, putting our faith in him. And although our particular fact will not be written in any book, God will remember it Eternally and will be grateful for people who put and practice faith in him.
Buenas tardes amigos que Dios les bendiga en este día.
Ayer les comparti mucho de la fe y justamente hoy en la reunión matinal de todos los domingos que tenemos en la iglesia en la cual me congrego el mensaje tuvo que ver mucho con este tema, hoy se habló de practicando o ejercitando la fe y en las sagradas escrituras tenemos muchos personas que practicaron esa fe ante las dificultades ante las adversidades y salieron victoriosas de la mano de Dios. Aquí les comparto un capítulo entero que está dedicado a la fe donde describe todos esos grandes hombres y mujeres que tuvieron fe en Dios y salieron victoriosos.
Hebreos 11:1-40
[1]La fe es la confianza de que en verdad sucederá lo que esperamos; es lo que nos da la certeza de las cosas que no podemos ver.
[2]Por su fe, la gente de antaño gozó de una buena reputación.
[3]Por la fe entendemos que todo el universo fue formado por orden de Dios, de modo que lo que ahora vemos no vino de cosas visibles.
[4]Fue por la fe que Abel presentó a Dios una ofrenda más aceptable que la que presentó Caín. La ofrenda de Abel demostró que era un hombre justo, y Dios aprobó sus ofrendas. Aunque Abel murió hace mucho tiempo, todavía nos habla por su ejemplo de fe.
[5]Fue por la fe que Enoc ascendió al cielo sin morir, «desapareció porque Dios se lo llevó»; porque antes de ser llevado, lo conocían como una persona que agradaba a Dios.
[6]De hecho, sin fe es imposible agradar a Dios. Todo el que desee acercarse a Dios debe creer que él existe y que él recompensa a los que lo buscan con sinceridad.
[7]Fue por la fe que Noé construyó un barco grande para salvar a su familia del diluvio en obediencia a Dios, quien le advirtió de cosas que nunca antes habían sucedido. Por su fe, Noé condenó al resto del mundo y recibió la justicia que viene por la fe.
[8]Fue por la fe que Abraham obedeció cuando Dios lo llamó para que dejara su tierra y fuera a otra que él le daría por herencia. Se fue sin saber adónde iba.
[9]Incluso cuando llegó a la tierra que Dios le había prometido, vivió allí por fe, pues era como un extranjero que vive en carpas. Lo mismo hicieron Isaac y Jacob, quienes heredaron la misma promesa.
[10]Abraham esperaba con confianza una ciudad de cimientos eternos, una ciudad diseñada y construida por Dios.
[11]Fue por la fe que hasta Sara pudo tener un hijo, a pesar de ser estéril y demasiado anciana. Ella creyó que Dios cumpliría su promesa.
[12]Así que una nación entera provino de este solo hombre, quien estaba casi muerto en cuanto a tener hijos; una nación con tantos habitantes que, como las estrellas de los cielos y la arena de la orilla del mar, es imposible contar.
[13]Todas estas personas murieron aún creyendo lo que Dios les había prometido. Y aunque no recibieron lo prometido lo vieron desde lejos y lo aceptaron con gusto. Coincidieron en que eran extranjeros y nómadas aquí en este mundo.
[14]Es obvio que quienes se expresan así esperan tener su propio país.
[15]Si hubieran añorado el país del que salieron, bien podrían haber regresado.
[16]Sin embargo, buscaban un lugar mejor, una patria celestial. Por eso, Dios no se avergüenza de ser llamado el Dios de ellos, pues les ha preparado una ciudad.
[17]Fue por la fe que Abraham ofreció a Isaac en sacrificio cuando Dios lo puso a prueba. Abraham, quien había recibido las promesas de Dios, estuvo dispuesto a sacrificar a su único hijo, Isaac,
[18]aun cuando Dios le había dicho: «Isaac es el hijo mediante el cual procederán tus descendientes».
[19]Abraham llegó a la conclusión de que si Isaac moría, Dios tenía el poder para volverlo a la vida; y en cierto sentido, Abraham recibió de vuelta a su hijo de entre los muertos.
[20]Fue por la fe que Isaac prometió a sus hijos, Jacob y Esaú, bendiciones para el futuro.
[21]Fue por la fe que Jacob, cuando ya era anciano y estaba por morir, bendijo a cada uno de los hijos de José y se inclinó para adorar, apoyado en su vara.
[22]Fue por la fe que José, cuando iba a morir, declaró con confianza que el pueblo de Israel saldría de Egipto. Incluso les mandó que se llevaran sus huesos cuando ellos salieran.
[23]Fue por la fe que cuando nació Moisés, sus padres lo escondieron durante tres meses. Vieron que Dios les había dado un hijo fuera de lo común y no tuvieron temor de desobedecer la orden del rey.
[24]Fue por la fe que Moisés, cuando ya fue adulto, rehusó llamarse hijo de la hija del faraón.
[25]Prefirió ser maltratado con el pueblo de Dios a disfrutar de los placeres momentáneos del pecado.
[26]Consideró que era mejor sufrir por causa de Cristo que poseer los tesoros de Egipto, pues tenía la mirada puesta en la gran recompensa que recibiría.
[27]Fue por la fe que Moisés salió de la tierra de Egipto sin temer el enojo del rey. Siguió firme en su camino porque tenía los ojos puestos en el Invisible.
[28]Fue por la fe que Moisés ordenó que el pueblo de Israel celebrara la Pascua y rociara con sangre los marcos de las puertas para que el ángel de la muerte no matara a ninguno de sus primeros hijos varones.
[29]Fue por la fe que el pueblo de Israel atravesó el mar Rojo como si estuviera pisando tierra seca, pero cuando los egipcios intentaron seguirlos, murieron todos ahogados.
[30]Fue por la fe que el pueblo de Israel marchó alrededor de Jericó durante siete días, y las murallas se derrumbaron.
[31]Fue por la fe que Rahab, la prostituta, no fue destruida junto con los habitantes de su ciudad que se negaron a obedecer a Dios. Pues ella había recibido en paz a los espías.
[32]¿Cuánto más les tengo que decir? Se necesitaría demasiado tiempo para contarles acerca de la fe de Gedeón, Barac, Sansón, Jefté, David, Samuel y todos los profetas.
[33]Por la fe esas personas conquistaron reinos, gobernaron con justicia y recibieron lo que Dios les había prometido. Cerraron bocas de leones,
[34]apagaron llamas de fuego y escaparon de morir a filo de espada. Su debilidad se convirtió en fortaleza. Llegaron a ser poderosos en batalla e hicieron huir a ejércitos enteros.
[35]Hubo mujeres que recibieron otra vez con vida a sus seres queridos que habían muerto.Sin embargo, otros fueron torturados, porque rechazaron negar a Dios a cambio de la libertad. Ellos pusieron su esperanza en una vida mejor que viene después de la resurrección.
[36]Algunos fueron ridiculizados y sus espaldas fueron laceradas con látigos; otros fueron encadenados en prisiones.
[37]Algunos murieron apedreados, a otros los cortaron por la mitad con una sierra y a otros los mataron a espada. Algunos anduvieron vestidos con pieles de ovejas y cabras, desposeídos y oprimidos y maltratados.
[38]Este mundo no era digno de ellos. Vagaron por desiertos y montañas, se escondieron en cuevas y hoyos de la tierra.
[39]Debido a su fe, todas esas personas gozaron de una buena reputación, aunque ninguno recibió todo lo que Dios le había prometido.
[40] Pues Dios tenía preparado algo mejor para nosotros, de modo que ellos no llegaran a la perfección sin nosotros.
Amén, hoy cada uno de nosotros podemos tener esa victoria en Cristo poner nuestra fe en él Y aunque nuestro hecho en particular no quede escrito en ningún libro si Dios lo recordará Eternamente y estará agradecidos por personas que ponen y practican la fe en él.
