Yes, I did it.
My ambition is not too high. I'm a simple person living a very simple life. Achieving small milestones is what my current vision is.
A look, I gained more than 100 HP and gathered more than 25 HBD. That's a huge milestone for me.
My reputation is 59 and a half; I'm hopeful that it will soon be 60.
Honestly, I never thought I could make it this far.
I joined Hive a few years back and posted randomly on and off. I failed to grow an interest in writing. And though this place is not for me, I better leave.
2024 was a hard year for me, but because of the BTC price rise at the end of the year, I managed to pay off some of my debt.
During that time, fortunately, the high price of the hive came to my attention. And I thought, why not I give it a try? Maybe this time, I can learn and grow here. And side by side can earn something that would help improve my living condition.
I made 100 posts and didn't let the disappointment take over me.
This is another huge milestone. English is not my first language, and I can't speak English fluently. Writing in English is not an easy job for me. I know I use simple words to express myself. I never thought I could keep writing.
I also gained 35 followers in total. I need to engage more and improve my writing skills.
Time will sharpen my skills, I'm sure.
Consistency is the key in Hive. That's my first finding. The second is hard work. There are many communities, many apps, etc. I feel alienated seeing the proposal, witness, etc. As a person with very little knowledge of blogging and Blockchain, I don't find it easy to understand those things.
I'm in a stage of understanding discord communication, markdown, reading about different community guidelines, etc. Just a few days ago, I learned about the hive engine, I need more time to understand.
Reading and sticking around communities are working the best for me.
There is a long way to go... Hopefully, I will make it that far. May God be with me this time.
