Easter is coming next week, and as it is one of the biggest Christian holidays! On that topic, I got an idea how to connect two completely different things into a blog... When I was a kid, I remember that Easter mornings were the best... My sister and I would go to our grandparents for a Christmas egg hunt, trying to find eggs in the garden and yard! Today, I have a different analogy when someone mentions eggs...

Created in Canva.com
You have guessed right... It's about that old saying... "Don't put all your eggs in one basket." Over the last years, I was following/reading/watching different channels about crypto, trying to understand and to get involved as much as possible... Some content creators that I watched 4-5 years ago are still around, but I moved to some others... I suppose that we have people who come to our life in a "specific time" and they serve their mission, but many times, they leave, or we leave... If you learn faster than some content creators, you follow a new one that provides more information... I suppose that's how we grow...
I know one author who always advises people to keep it simple and you keep in your egg basket only a couple of assets... But, that "a couple" is a very relative thing.. We dive into some assets more deeply and in others don't, and that's normal... The problem always comes when we get (emotionally) "attached" to a certain asset, in our/my case, crypto... It's good to be focused, but it's bad as it narrows our views...

Which leads us to the "being a maxi" part of the story... From the very beginning of my crypto journey, I didn't want to pick sides... I had BTC, ETH, XMR, and later HIVE, SOL, SUI... Of course, BTC is out of the league, but still, I wouldn't say for myself that I'm BTC maxi... It's not the best blockchain, but it has its big pros too...
On the other side, as time passes by, I realized that I'm probably HIVE maxi! I hate to admit it, and I tried to explain to myself that I wasn't, but everyone from my surroundings knew it... lol... 😂 The signs are clear: I'm spending over 6-7 hours per day on HIVE-related things, my HIVE holdings are very high in my crypto portfolio, I talk about HIVE in posts, on Discord, with my wife, and with other friends...
The problem of being a "maxi" is that you physically run out of time to "not be a maxi"! That's exactly what happened to me... I have no time to research other chains, to get fresh ideas, to discuss different approaches, to REDUCE my risk as a lot of my eggs are in the same basket!
It's like a real addiction... It can be fun, but on the other hand, sometimes I have a feeling of being stuck in the mud from which I can't escape... Because of that, I can't add MORE VALUE to the chain! Lack of creativity and new ideas keeps us in the same place... So, I'm a MAXI, but I don't add value... I a certain way, I'm rather "destroying" the system than improving it! It's weird to say, but it is like that!
What do you think? Is it good to be "maxi" (HIVE, BTC, or something else)? What are the pros and cons? Are you a HIVE maxi?

Let's see the WorkerBee Pool numbers for this week...
This week, we have mined 77 BEE tokens in total!!! I thought that last time we were unlucky, but it looks like we beat that (negative) record!... Also, I want to add that there were some big WORKERBEE sales, where people staked over 20-30K tokens, which had a big impact on this small market... Anyways, we will see what happens in the next weeks...
This week, we didn't have new delegators, but we got new delegations from old members, too! Thanks guys! Appreciate your support!
This POOL doesn't have fees, and you get up to 20% MORE by delegating to it!

What about the bonus tokens?
It looks like the markets are waking up... Today's bonus token is LEO, which hasn't exploded in price (yet), but if we zoom out a picture, it did go up around 20% in the last 2 weeks... That's not bad at all... It is still way down from the "good days" price, but at least it's moving up slowly...
There will be distributed 100 LEO tokens to the delegators of the pool as a bonus reward today!

As always, in the end, let's give the exact numbers for this week... 77 BEE tokens and 100 LEO tokens will be distributed as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 3.601%, and when we added the bonus, it went up to 4.312%!
I have calculated the ROI approximately with medium prices for all tokens at the moment of creating this post... So, those numbers are valid if you bought WB and sold BEE tokens at the middle HiveEngine price...
Do you want to sponsor the PH-Pool with your tokens, receive a short SPONSORED segment in this post, and raise awareness about your front-end or dApp? Please let me know in the comment section, or contact me through Discord or Twitter, and we will find the best solution for both parties...

If you want to join the WorkerBee PH-Pool, the only thing that you have to do is to STAKE tokens to YOUR account and DELEGATE your staked WORKERBEE tokens to THIS account (@ph1102)! Every week, you will get your portion of mined BEE tokens and BONUS rewards!
.:. DO NOT STAKE TOKENS TO MY ACCOUNT!!! Just DELEGATE! .:.

All payments will be made after publishing this post...
If you have any questions, please leave them in the comment section!

That is so true for me. And more unfortunate, I am unable to keep track of these "unreadable" wallet address, specifically when they hold only 20 to 30 USD of crypto,
Hehehehe... I try to keep those addresses written in a .txt file... But, I remember the time when I had 5-10x tokens more, from different blockchains... That was a mess... 😂
I'm a Hive maximalist like you and I'm happy about it. I would like to spread my assets a bit more. Right now I'm mostly holding Hive, but in the videos I've been watching about portfolio management lately, I've found that a portfolio of BTC, BNB and Gold is the most advantageous in terms of both low risk and return.
I'm not "that big" HIVE maxi regarding my bags, but I am regarding the time that I spend here and in other apps around HIVE... That bothers me more than having a lot of tokens lol...
BTC and gold are definitely the way to go... Not sure about BNB as it is heavily connected to the Binance exchange, and it could collapse (happened to many exchanges in the past)... On the other side, because of that "view", I missed a huge BNB pump, and I was there on time... lol...
I watched some videos made by some turkish youtubers. They were saying that the portfolio with the highest return with the lowest risk in the last 6 years was 60% gold, 25% bnb and 15% btc. Of course, the return on gold is also related to the inflation of the Turkish lira. If you buy gram gold in Turkey, its value will rise both as the dollar rises and as gold rises.
It looks like there are a lot of BNB fanboys in Turkey... 😃 I mean, BNB token had a big market cap, but I never heard people talking about it and adding to their long-term portfolio... Interesting...
Man, what I mean here is cryptocurrencies with low risk and high return. It's not about being a fanboy. Everyone says that BNB is a coin that should be approached with caution because it's a company coin, but on the other hand, it doesn't change the fact that this cryptocurrency has been performing great lately.
Hehehe... I was just kidding, and I didn't say that YOU ARE a fanboy of BNB... 😜
In any case, when you say it like that, it looks like an easy thing... Don't want to be a party breker, but reality is many times completely different... Also, I want to say that I do HODL BTC, and from my perspective, it's the best asset atm... It is incomparable with any other token, and it will probably do better than gold in the long run...
Okay we will see 😂
Definitely not a maxi yet, for Hive or any other blockchain. I try to be realistic as possible and acknowledge the pros and cons of each ecosystem. I'm not that much of a diversification fan, unless I have a sizeable crypto bag. Right now, it's more sensible to take concentrated bets.
You sound like a very well-balanced guy... I mean, I'm trying to keep it real and "non-emotional", but I do fail many times... lol...
For me I'll personally be a Hive maxi forever, and the funny thing is, we do is it subconsciously and not knowingly. For me, at some point I'll try out other opportunities when I have the finances (I'm currently doing so) to do so, but I think whatever profit I make will still come back here. I mean, somehow this place is home to us all.
Yeah, we are doing it without even knowing... I suppose it's always like that... You don't know you are becoming a maxi, you just realized one day that you are... 😂
And regarding bringing back to HIVE funds and profits, that's something that I did before with powering up those 1K every HivePUD, and I will probably continue by bringing funds into HBD...
Yeah, I know you've been doing that with the 1k power-ups, my plans have not worked and all the ventures have either failed too woefully or have not produced any dividends, so I hold they can. Kudos to you. At this rate, you could be a whale in 2 to 3 years
I'm not doing it anymore... Run out of funds... lol... So, no whale rank in the next 2-3 years... Tbh, I'm happy with the stake I have, not really pushing to become a whale or such...
You don't even need to. Just take profit in this bull run, buy X5 of the initial Hive sold. Boom! Whale status activated. Lool of course it's easier said than done
Thanks for the update and tokens!
Hmmm... My not so positive story is... After being overdiversified (more than 10 tokens) in the last cycle, I decided to focus on just BTC for this cycle.. But over time, the size got bigger because I was DCA-ing and BTC was going up, so one fine day, I started to wonder if it was too risky to keep my crypto portfolio 100% in BTC and so I started looking for a 2nd token for diversification.. And guess what.. I decided on ETH.. Looking back (of course it's easy on hindsight), it wasn't a good decision. Lol.
!LUV
Hehehehe... That's an interesting story... As an ETH holder, I can understand you very well... lol... I was mining ETH 8 years ago, and I was HODLing it for a long time, but I did swap some into SOL while it was worth something... But, I still have some ETH in my bags.... waiting... for better days... Not selling for cheap, but waiting for "the last ETH pump" 🤣
😂

I also spend maybe too much time on Hive, so in this respect I am a maxi, but I also do have less prominent connections to other ecosystems. Between us two, you probably checked out more places outside Hive than I did lately, but that doesn't make me more of a Hive maxi than you, probably, lol.
Hahahaha... It's not a competition, and I'm not proud to be a Hive maxi... 😂 I would rather "not be" as I think it's not a good thing to be "anything maxi" 😃
You are for sure a Hive Maxi! I think it's good to be focused on just a couple of assets if you have conviction and know them well. I am totally against de-worsifocation, especially to assets you know nothing about.
Can't say that I didn't do the "over-diversification" when I was in my first bull markets... lol... I had probably over 30-40 cryptos in my portfolio... Of course, 95% went to zero... 🤣
Litecoin will come to our rescue. NFA. 😅
Thanks for the update!
Addiction is always a problem, I think, for example, when we talk about beer, haha...
I use Hive more as a social network than as a blockchain base on which it runs.
Actually, if I look at it like that, out of my crypto portfolio I have about 5-8% Hive..., 40%BTC, and the rest in crypto funds/strategies in Iconomi.
If I look at what social networks I still use, it's basically 95% Hive, all the others are just for sharing Hive links, and if we go into more detail, about 50% mine and 50% others from Hive.
Hahahahaha... It looks like everyone has their addiction... 🤣 For some is crypto; for others, beer, etc. 😂
You may not be Hive Maxi, but you are half-hive-addicted... 😜
Haha, that's probably true. But when I'll move all my crypto to Hive wallet I'll be maxi (with small m) 😎
That is so true in crypto, some coins and chains we grew up with so to speak, you have to know when to cut loose!
A Hive maxi is a good one, I think most of are Hive maxis in one way or another. Hive the ecosystem is great and I am 100% a maxi in that regard. Sometimes I blur the line when we talk about people. What puts me off saying I am a maxi is so many of the OGs on Hive that do things I don't agree with. Self voting, getting value plan cash to put into their CEX wallets etc etc.
Easter as a kid was like yours, we used to paint hard boiled eggs and roll them down hills!
Yeah, we all see weird stuff on HIVE, and people say one thing while doing the opposite. On the other side, we can't know who is right and wrong, as history is being written in these moments... Maybe we don't see the big picture, I don't know...
The point is to accept others as nobody knows which path is the right one... The beauty of all this is that we can take different paths, at the same time... We should "only" ACCEPT that, which isn't that easy for certain people, that unfortunately, are in some "high positions"...
As I was living in the plains, we didn't have hills to roll... 😂 🤣 hahahahah
It is what it is. All Hive needs is a rule book. You can do this and you can't do that. But as an ecosystem Hive is quite unique and wonderful.
We celebrate holy week differently maybe I post something about it. 🤔
Every country has its customs and traditions and it would be interesting to see what it looks like in your place! 🎉
It's an interesting thing to think about. I think having a few is good. Too many is bad. It just depends though.
Thanks for running the pool and for the BEE/LEO tokens
Definitely better to have a few, but well-researched, than to have many, and know nothing about them...
When I create a post on HIVE, I think I spent at leats 3 hours. Also, the digital wellbeing of my smartphone says, I used Ecency dApp almost 4 hours last week :)
Only 4 hours per week??? 😱
I do that in my "morning session" 🤣
I have never hunt eggs for Easter🤣
As you said it's impossible to maximize different stuff, already hive takes hours, you had to do stuff in eth, btc and the rest, 24h are not even enough
... and it's not "healthy" to be into something 100%... There is always a risk of being in a "bubble", without seeing all the good things that are happening outside... Which could be useful INSIDE the bubble zone.. 😃

@ph1102, I sent you anThe irony is that I can't eat eggs... I like them, but I can't eat them as they destroy my stomach. lol... 😃
Then don't eat eggs. lol They may "bee" a good food. May be intereacting with some bacteria or something. Not for everyone. They can even cause seizures in some people.
