When I checked today's number of mined BEE tokens, I thought that we were extremely unlucky again, as we mined a record-low amount of tokens during the last week... I went through numbers and probabilities, and I would like to share them with you in this post...

Firstly, I would like to explain how "mining" on Hive-Engine works... When you stake miner tokens (in our case WORKERBEE), you have a probability of "finding/mining" BEE tokens... It's a lottery system, as it works in a similar way... If you have more tickets, you have more probability of winning... If you have fewer staked WORKERBEE tokens, you have less probability...
What is certain is the number of "winners" per hour... In the case of WORKERBEE tokens, we have 10 winners get 1 BEE tokens per hour, which means that there are 240 BEE tokens per day distributed to people who stake WORKERBEE tokens... If you have a lot of WB tokens staked, you can "win" multiple times per hour... If you have less, and you are unlucky, it could pass days without mining any BEE tokens!
That's why I came up with the idea of creating this pool, as even if you have just 1 WB token staked (or less), by DELEGATING your staked tokens, you still get "your part" of the earnings of the whole pool...
At the moment of writing this post, there are 249439.10644 staked WORKERBEE tokens in total! Our pool with around 14563 tokens makes less than 6% of all staked WORKERBEEs!
As time passes and there is more interest in the miner token, more and more people are buying (and staking) them... As mining is a game of probabilities, more participants means fewer rewards... I mean, the number of rewards is the same, but it is spread among more people... So, even though we didn't lose delegators in the pool for a long time, the number of mined BEE tokens fell as other people (outside the pool), bought and staked more WORKERBEE tokens...
I hope I didn't overcomplicate this explanation... 😃 In conclusion, we were unlucky this time, as we did mine less than the "optimum" number should be... From my calculations, we should mine around 95-98 BEE tokens per week... Last time we mined 100, the week before 90, a week before 107...
Let's see the WorkerBee Pool numbers for this week...
This week, we have mined 76 BEE tokens in total!!! 24 less than the week before! Unlucky!...
This week we didn't have new delegators... As usual, we got some new delegations from old members, too! Thanks guys! Appreciate your support!
This POOL doesn't have fees and you get up to 20% MORE by delegating to it!
What about the bonus tokens?
Who doesn't like to get a token that is stable even in these volatile days? The CTPSB token is one of those, "HIVE-backed" tokens that only grows through time... Of course, it is correlated with the price of HIVE, so it follows the direction of HIVE... But, on the other side, it does grow in value as it acquires value from other methods... If you believe in HIVE, then having some CTPSB tokens in your wallet is the way to go... Passive income, baby! 😃 NFA!
There will be distributed 1.75 CTPSB tokens to the delegators of the pool as a bonus reward today!
As always, in the end, let's give the exact numbers for this week... 76 BEE tokens and 1.75 CTPSB tokens will be distributed as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 3.98%, and when we added the bonus it went up to 4.893%!
I have calculated the ROI approximately with medium prices for all tokens at the moment of creating this post... So, those numbers are valid if you bought WB and sold BEE tokens at the middle HiveEngine price...

But whats the cause of this token not meeting up with an average mining capacity per week ? is it because of the dip in the prizes of cryptocurrency lately
I am waiting for cheap Workerbee. For them I am not looking for APR such but more of a governance token.
