Yeah thats a good point, my Zcash is the only currency that didn't hit the stop loss and its not proof of stake in anyway.
Tezos pulled back too but its hyped up right now.

I have no reasonable conclusion for what you have observed but am curious now.
Maybe to attract new investors and tempt Bitcoin short positions into the extended altcoin season if my best guess.
