This year I gave up on the squirrels for messing up the backyard and eating up
the mangoes on the tree. The birds are there as well in the festive. Whenever May into June
this is mango season in South Florida. People from the North do not have this luxury.
Even folks from California do not have mango in their area. Mangoes is a tropical fruit
where the weather needs to be 80% warm to grow.
So I showed you a picture of the outside light in the backyard where mangoes destroy the old one.
I ordered a new one so I can replace it with a new one. It was a fire hazard, wires was hanging everywhere.
It is raining daily so I act promptly.
I received the box yesterday. It was light and compact for a long stick light with three branches.
Saturday is a great day to put stuffs together.
You can see the old one. They look exactly the same just the light part is different.
Glad I do not have to drill a hole in the ground.
Unscrew and replace as you will see in the later pictures.
I was surprised there were no guide or brochure on the box.
Definitely a guy pack it since we do not look for a guide to put stuff together.
I have to assemble the glass part. Since I have no guide, I scramble for a while and I get it together
all three. I made sure all wirings go where they should. If I can place the order online
and I receive it why not put the time to assemble it.
I assume I could have pay a guy almost one hundred to do it for me.
Again I turned off the breakers for the area to reconnect the wires from
the bottom.
As you can see it works. Safety first. All I have to do is to screw
the base part on the ground and attach and screw the middle part to the top.
I did have the tools everyone has at home to do it.
If it was a new one from scratch I may not be able to do it
since I need to anchor three long screw in the ground.

I was worried for a fire cause the pole light
has powered. Job well done and I will pay
myself in Hive. I will get myself 500 Hive for a job well done.
Can you believe a time where you could pay someone with Hive?

we have come and now we can use this community

Let's hope no more mangoes will destroy this one.
It looks more sturdy to the touch.
The old one had metal that can corrodes while
the new one has more hard plastic.
Who knows how long it will last.
