Another late comer is here again today,but trust me I just have to be here and I want to say have been really engaged this days which as actually kept me out from here ,but still I can't not but come here and say hello to you mate's
Trust you guys are really enjoying the weekend and I must say mine as been busy since ,cause I have alot to do as I worked as an observer today in my state for an election which was held today,.
Trust you are wondering where I am from and seems have not really talked about that before,but definitely you got to know that today cause I have a question I need to ask self.
Am a Nigerian and I reside in one of the best part of this state in that country called Lagos state,trust you mate's might not have known much about that state,but trust me,try and come for vacation as their are lot of good places to see and relax.
But that is not really the major reason of coming to here and typing all this,juts like I said in the above statement that I worked as an observer today in the local government election that was held today, trust me it was a very good and peaceful one to say.
But my observation today as really drive my attention to the question which am about to ask,this is my opinion anyway and I must say am liable to every decision I make or suggestions I raised and thanks to the fact that thier is freedom of speech here.
Just as we do have elections in other countries too,I really get worried at the mind set of the citizens while casting their vote and most important the complain you heard from them after the elected person start misbehaving nor start going against their campaign promises.
This above statement is why am asking this question
What do we really vote for in a constant,,their popularity or thier person?
A little surprised not to have seen you inspiring and thought provoking nuggets you share daily yesterday of all days. I figured out you must be really busy with real life stuffs. Great you eventually did even though it was a bit late.
I can only say for myself, the weekend has been awesome. Had enough rest till the extent that I feel I might run sick due to oversleeping. Funny right?:-).
You were an election observer, how cool was that? I also chose to stay away from them elections, not a cool act from me I know. Just applying safety measures, I believe you know what I mean:-)?
I figured it must be Nigeria has they also seem to be observing some form of local government election. Cool, the commercial Capital of the country Nigeria, I believe. Seem to have quite a lot of the state. it seems really popular and one of places that come to mind when the word Nigeria is discussed. Would be really to visit some hotspot over there especially in the island part of Lagos. I heard that's where all the fun is at.
Wanted to ask you earlier how the election as went. Great to know it was all peaceful and fair. That's exactly how all elections ought to be.
Concerning the major point of discussion which is your above question, I believe the personality and achievement of the candidate should be the major concern no all the manifesto and all as politicians seems to lie all the time in a bid to just seat in that position of power.
