Noble Words : Beauty is subjective!

There are people who often get in awe with other people 'looks'. There are many nice looking handsome people around. Be it any gender, falling in awe for them is a natural instinct of human being. But does only look matters? Our Sanskrit have highlighted the importance of other aspect in a human being, it says :

नरस्याभरणं रूपं रूपस्याSSभरणं गुण:

गुणस्याSSभरणं ज्ञानं ज्ञानस्याSSभरणं क्षमा

Narasyaabharanam roopam roopasyaabharanam gunah.
gunasyaabharanam gyaanm gyaanasyaabharanam kshmaa.

Nara = a person.
Aabharan = jewellery, attire, decoration.
Roop = grace, form, splendour.
Roopasya = of the 'Roop'.
Gunah = virtues, quality,merit.
Gyaan = knowledge.
Kshama = forbearance, tolerance, forgiveness.

A person's ornamentation is his grace , and grace if associated with virtues. Virtues get decorated by knowledge, and knowledge by tolerance and forbearance.

Looks don't matter, these lines emphasises that a person may be beautiful, but simply being beautiful is of no use if he does not have good qualities which are acquired through knowledge. And simply having knowledge is immaterial if the person concerned does not possess tolerance and forgiveness.

While looks might grab initial attention, they don't guarantee compatibility or lasting happiness. Physical appearance, is what initially noticeable in an individual but it doesn't define a person's character, intelligence, or other important qualities that contribute to a meaningful relationship. Now a days with so many Grooming kit available, anyone can easily looks better. Relying solely on looks is shallow and can't sustain a long-term relationship.

Personality traits like kindness, humor, intelligence, and values are more important for building strong connections. True connections are built on shared values, personality, and how someone treats you, not just how they look.

Learning is Passion!!
