RE: How Are You Doing These Days?

It reminds me of my experience in South Korea. Some of my Korean colleagues told me that their lives are getting more difficult each day as we serve a local church. And then they asked, "How about you?" I just smiled. 😂

When you came from hell, the hell of many is heaven to me.

🤣

Good point! There is a high degree of subjectivity in what we perceive of hard times or stressful events. For someone in the middle of a real war, our modern time "issues" would be something they'd be so happy to live to see again.

Yeah, you're right. In times of peace, we take for granted the many privileges we enjoy, and we tend to be overwhelmed by the small issues that we have. It reminds me of TCMD's video I listened to yesterday. Paraphrasing what he said, "When a T-rex is after your life, do you have time to worry about your stomach ache or your depression?" 😂

When a T-rex is after your life, do you have time to worry about your stomach ache or your depression?

Luckily, humans didn't have to face any T-Rex. If we would have, it's likely we wouldn't be around. 😉

😅 Yeah, you're right.

I forgot why he used that as an analogy. He was discussing the urgency for the technical solution and the excesses of government overreach.
