RE: Thanksgiving

in Proof of Brain3 years ago (edited)

I think what we bring each new year is at the very least a changed perspective, even if it may seem slight to us on some issues, to that which we had the prior year, as we are all irrevocably changed by each event and experience in our lives. It is an effect of causality and a wheel that turns. Events happens, we experience them as impacts to our hearts and souls and minds. The dynamic interaction shifts little things inside of us and shapes our responses to similar issues the next time around. So we shape our environment and in turn, our environment shapes us. Non?

Hey, @samsmith1971, you made me remember this 👇👇👇

For if we cannot choose what happens to us, we can always choose our attitude toward it. After all, our life is not what happens in it, but what we think of it, what we consider it to be

It's a cause and effect post written by @alekst7. When I saw the word, causality, it hit a nerve.

Thanks for reminding about the lessons I gained from reading that post.

Sincerely, everything you said here, is the summary of what @alekst7 said in that post. I'll leave you a link
