What a wonderful post and testament to your father, Jaco. He seems like he was a pretty amazing human being and definitely somebody to be exceptionally proud of all these years. I only know you through Hive, but what I do know of you and how you relate to others on here, I can only say that it would appear to me that the apple did not fall far from the tree💗, and a certain Mr Alberts Snr is surely looking down smiling at his "seunjie" now with absolute pride and joy.🙏 My own parents were very hard working kind people too. My dad is still with us but my mom passed 2 1/2 years ago, quite suddenly too, and left a big hole in our lives. I am only happy for you that you got your Dad back for all those extra years... being a 13-year-old boy at the time of his car accident must have been terribly scary and not something I would wish on anyone !PIZZA !ALIVE !LUV

But it really means a lot to hear that. The biggest dream I always had was if I can only be like my dad...so yes, your words go deeper than what you might think... Thank you.
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. It really leaves a big hole when something like that happens indeed. My Mom also passed in 2014.
We had my Dad for those extra years...enjoy your Dad while you still have him with you. Still having him around must be special. Treasure every moment!
