Fascinado con las nuevas habilidades adquiridas, Andrés Uno se dirigió muy solemnemente a la Sargento Ana.
-Señora creo que ya estoy preparado para conducir la unidad araña sin acompañante-
-Pero está usted demente, seguramente perderá la cabeza en el primer minuto que entre al simulador, ya hemos perdido bastante tiempo con sus idioteces-
-Señora, le recuerdo que Japón ya reportó tener un par de operadores técnicos y ya solo nos quedan cuatro meses para el lanzamiento-
En ese momento las unidades de alarma se encendieron todas juntas, todo el personal empezó a correr a sus puestos de combate, pero Uno y la sargento se dirigieron directamente a la sala del simulador. Semidesnudo y con toda la calma del mundo, el anciano bailaba enfrente de la araña gigante.
-Pero que está pasando aquí, cualquiera sin entrenamiento hubiera perdido el conocimiento delante de la criatura, y sin embargo este anciano parece que lo disfruta-
-¿Y si lo llevamos al simulador?-
Minutos mas tarde Uno y Ana llevaban al anciano al simulador. Juntos el anciano y Uno empezaron las maniobras mas complejas de la práctica sin ningún contratiempo. Ahora el problema iba a ser como iban a explicar que un completo desconocido sin ninguna clase de entrenamiento pudiera conducir una unidad aracnida…
Durante la siguiente semana el anciano mostró habilidades sobresalientes aún sin acompañante, su adaptación con el simbionte se realizó sin ningún contratiempo. La unidad ya tenía dos equipos en linea uno maniobrado por Andrés y Sofía y el otro por el anciano solo.
Al estudiar el cerebro del anciano, se percataron que tenía una anomalía que le permitía conducir sin problemas la unidad de prueba, resultó que su cerebro estaba dividido en dos, pero solo una de ellas permanecía despierta mientras la otra dormía...
