I really wanted to share this with you since my mother always tells me, and her words are wise and are full of reason. It is better to learn from the mistakes of others than to commit them too. It is true that we can learn from our own mistakes but it is better to avoid the blow.

That reminds me of an idiom, I wrote down a long time ago.
I don't know, who said it first. But here goes:
"Dumb people never learn from their mistakes.
Smart people learn from their own mistakes.
Wise people learn from mistakes of others."
