This question has come my way severally, I've been asked by my friends, people who look up to me as a role model, love ones, colleagues at school etc. If I'll hand over my business to a friend, love one, well wisher or a total stranger while I am away in another man's country simply for pastures new.

My answer never been straightforward ever since I've been asked about it. Cos, I'm kinda confused the right answer I could offer that will be the ideal puzzle solver. We are living in a world full of surprises, your friend, love one, family member can trick you simply because, you handed the business in their own care while away. That's why many entrepreneurs today are skeptic when it comes to given their business out to anyone at all because of the risk involved handling it to someone no matter how familiar it maybe.

Because any one can trick you when it comes to money, even Joseph brothers sold him off simply because of money. Brothers kill themselves just for the money, so your business profit can't be left behind when offered to the wrong person. I didn't say offering it to another person we trust is not feasible or its disastrous but rather we should be careful who we are handing it over. Because humans are unpredictable, even our beloved relation, friend, companion can betray us just for selfish interest of loving money more than the bond we share.

I understand that, we must hand the business over to someone when we are distance away from the business. My honest suggestion will simply be going into legal written agreement with the interim owner which i handed over my business, to pledge allegiance with me, that whatever damages that occurs in my business why i am away, he or she will be heard responsible for it, and penalty follows.

Will you handle your business to someone, either your friend, family member, well wisher etc, without legal agreement while you're away?

Sort:

hahaha no
if they were as good as me while doing it, they'd do it themselves
no
just no

Lol, that means you'll be locking your business up during your leave, and start again when you're back?

I'll either not leave or suspend activities
