Had to look up 'degi mirch tadka' and not sure if I can get that here. Never seen it. Will try this recipe soon tho.

Ok so degi Mirch tadka means heating just 1 tbsp oil in a small pan and adding less spicy red chilli powder to it. Once the chilli cooks in the oil (which would take about 4-5 sec), just garnish the oil on the dal.
