It is better to try, make mistakes and make mistakes than never leave the place, those who take risks are certainly looking for something new.
You're very right for this statement because what's our elder do say is that "when an house fall you for the first time, stand up and clamped it again". Meaning that any mistakes you made will surely give room to learn more because you will see or hear some people that have done the same mistakes that you make and learn from that person's mistakes.
