Want to talk about a topic, but still don’t have enough data to post about? Raise the topic and talk to others about it. Want to give your opinion on governance, UI, or even meet new people that you didn't know were part of the community, this is the place.
In addition to receiving votes on any comments that you bring to the community, you will also be competing for a prize for doing so.

At the end of the post, 3 users who interacted will be drawn, where the first will receive a full vote in a comment, the second a 50% vote and the third a 25% vote.
These votes will not hinder the trail, as it votes only on posts and not comments.

You can also try your luck in an extra lottery by purchasing a ticket. This ticket will give
you a number to enter an extra draw on the day you purchased, the week you purchased, and the month you purchased.
To get one, just transfer 1 POB to @vempromundo.pob, this will serve to increase the voting power, and consequently give bigger votes to the winners. (The limit you can purchase is 1 per day, if you transfer for example 10 POB, you will compete with 1 ticket per day for 10 days).

I'd love to receive any vote, or ever criticism! My main goal here is to work on my writing, my creative skills, becoming a better writer each day! I'm also interested in meeting new people who think alike. And if I make some money in the process it will be extremely welcome too, but I would be grateful to receive any vote, even if it's a 0.0 POB one!
That is the friendly attitude. the growth and diffusion of knowledge. We really must value the action that a person stopped to read you and give you a positive vote. I especially like receiving votes, even though their value is 0.0000, it motivates me to keep growing.
I feel like having my post commented is almost as good as receiving a super big vote from someone. So in the end is it about someone admiring and recognizing your effort, your individual expression, that makes it worth while, money is just a happy consequence.

0.000000 POB vote is all I have at the moment but my vote is worth a few cents in HIVE. I plan on powering up my POB around the 1st of next month. For now I'm gathering what I can via content creation and trading.

The value of the vote should not matter if one is actually looking to create connections with others.
Here is a example that will explain why value should not matter.
A witness of Blockchain feels happy if a person votes for his/her witness and apart from what is the power up stake being hold by the person who voted for that witness.
The witness is happy because with time stake will increase.
One person with 1 million stake voting a person as a witness and 1000 people with total of 1 million stake voting for a person as a witness.

Exact does not really matter the value depending on what you are looking for within the platform. There are those who complain because what they are looking for is a reward that many times they do not even deserve, but that is another topic, thank you @kamran-rkploy for taking the time to respond.
The upvote value isn't as important as the comments about the content of the published article. The vote count can rise so high but it is formed with more than 80% automate bots.
Clearly, the value of a comment has great meaning for the writer within the platform. when i see a comment on my post i get euphoric with excitement

Frankly I don't care much about the value of the vote, any vote counts. It shows that people appreciate what I write and that's all that matters

It's depends, if the people who vote don't have power, it's ok, if they have a lot of power, but choose to do only that, well... I don't know, it would be weird... @onealpha.pob says that he gives lower upvotes as a hint that the content is shit... maybe some people do this too...

As you can see the name changed to POB TALK, because some people are confused here with gambling because of the lottery in the name, but the rules remain the same.
From now on, every 00:01 (GMT -3) it will be possible to follow the draw of the winners. Just enter the Discord of the POB and I will be live broadcasting the draw. The transmission will take a few minutes as you just have to make the draws and post, but anyone who is online at the moment will be able to follow.
I hope this will bring more transparency and consequently more users to participate.

The name change is going to be well-received by all the community members. I am sure there will be a plan for the future of this project as the number of participants exceeds daily 100 comments. It is early to make suggestions but a sustainable balance between prizes and awardees to keep the engagement alive can be an approach of solution.
These changes will attract more participants and it is a good strategy to keep the reputation of this space clean and it depends on each user if they want to be present in the broadcast of the draw or not. Just bought some more tickets, is there a limit to how many you can buy in one go?
One a day, however you can send more than one POB and you will be competing for several days.
For example, if you submit 1 POB today, you will be entered into the drawing of today and tomorrow.
If you submit 3 POBs you will be entered into the draw today, Monday and Tuesday.

Same here it is a ban in my country too and I respect your sensitivity with the subject “weed”. But to me I feel with time they should come to a conclusion about it and control the abuse of weed.

Well, you used to consume in the past till broke off it. I think the problem about it is the abuse.
