Let's talk about various tokens you guys are aware of and using. As most of us know there are plenty of tokens on hive engine and we also claim several token time to time on this platform. Most of us don't have any idea what these actually are so let's share your knowledge and wisdom on the tokens of hive engine. I am familiar with cent, ctp, neoxian, palnet, creativecoin. I once used weedcash tag in one of my post and i didn't know its rules. So your opinions on the use these tokens.
I got downvoted on a weedcash post once. I guess because it wasn't directly about weed. I thought mentioning the word "weed" would be enough but I guess you got to go into more specifics.
I'm curious now about pizza. I have seen this one a lot in curation. It looks like you can reward people with pizza. I don't know if #pizza also curates the pizza tag.
Pizza is like the !BEER bot.
When you hold enough you can call on its bot and hand out !PIZZA.
They have other stuff planned as well.
Hello @rentmoney I have seen that you are one of the people who distributes beer, tell me, how does it work, when you call the bot a direct delivery arrives to the person? When I get a message that I got a beer, is it just a serving? How do you increase the amount of beer you have?
Once you hold 24 !BEER in your Hive-Engine wallet you can use the !BEER bot command. The bot will then distrube beer in the amount of 0.10 BEER for each time you call it. The bot uses its own supply when called so you won't be out any !BEER when calling on the bot.

Like BEER, PIZZA arrives in increments of 0.1 PIZZA.
I'm mostly on POB for that reason. A lot of tribes will DV if your posts aren't exactly about the main topic of that tribe.
When we are newbies we use the tags that we see in the publications of other users and we select them at random, the truth is that that puts us at risk of obtaining a DV and it is not pleasant at all.
I started using #proofofbrain by posting from another community and got a reward in the same way. On the other hand, other communities do not offer votes to those who do not publish from their front ... so the POB makes a difference in the tockens
No matter what topic I choose to write about I have only found encouragement from #POB and #proofofbrain tags.
Even if you're in a general-topics tribe like Proof of Brain, PALnet, City of Neoxian and a few others, it's still possible to get downvoted. Posting crap gets people downvoted. Posting something not in tune with what the tribe as a whole is posting gets people downvoted. Then there are the usual things like offensive language, endorsing criminal activity, scams, etc.
Posting in Proof of Brain won't keep anyone safe from the downvote, so we need to post accordingly: nearly any topic, but be respectful to your fellow Hivers.
True talk. Another is the use of ash tag. So many people use ash tag arbitrarily.

Yes. But my challenge with pob is the price. When i first join the hive community the price was $0.7. In fact a pob can buy 2 hive then but the case is now reversed
Keep accumulating brother, you will definitely reach the sky. I have so much faith in POB that I have started investing almost triple the time here from what I used to do earlier. If you think the price is low and you are not depending on this income to meet your regular expenses, just keep adding to your wallet.
Until very recently I thought it only existed: hive, motor, lotus, pob. but one day he decided to go in:hive-engine and there he transformed a few pennies into coins that he had no idea existed. a great list of tockens out there and I'm curious how I can get some. on the other hand, like you, I'm starting to see beer and pizza all over the comunity
hive-engine is a big eye opener.
Definitely it happens I was once a vitcim of that too,but wasn't downvoted,one of the users warned me and I never repeat such error,I think warning should comes first before downvoting a user cause of a mistake
The warning is very kind. The downvote I got was very small. Maybe that was the warning. It may also have been an accidental downvote. The buttons are pretty close together. On a cell phone that may slip easily if not calibrated correctly.
Anyway, weedcash was very kind every other time. But I will keep in mind that all tribes will appreciate the majority of the post about that tag so they can curate well.

I guess Pizza and Beer are just engagement tokens and they are not tribes. They are just issued with the exclamation mark before the word and the tokens are issued to the recipient.

There are pages for PIZZA, BEER, LUV, ENGAGE, and a few others; One place to find them is in the Wallet section of Hive Engine after you sign in. The white "i" inside a dark circle is the Information icon for the token. When the dialog box for that token appears, one item will be a link to a site. More info about the token should be at the link.
As for using those tokens like we see in comments, first the tokens need to be accumulated. Some arrive in whole units, others arrive in fractional units. Either way, after reaching a certain quantity it then becomes possible to use the exclamation mark with the token name. If you don't have enough of the token accumulated, a reply arrives with bad news.
If you have enough earnings or disposable income, these tokens can be purchased in sufficient quantities and then used with the exclamation point. My earnings aren't at a point where I can buy anyting, so I have no experience to share on buying Hive or Layer 2 tokens such as POB and LEO.
@magnacarta I must say you have gained a lot of knowledge in a small amount of time. You joined POB just a couple of months back and you are in full force. Commendable job!
Thank you. Some knowledge came the hard way after making many mistakes. Some knowledge came from comparing what I had discovered with what I had learned (especially with the engagement tokens). The rest came from reading what others had written here and elsewhere on Hive.
Most of my questions are about what I can do here, and the expected sources of information didn't help. So I look around for answers and share them with everyone in case they have the same questions.
Mistakes give you the best knowledge ever.

Hold 24 BEER tokens and you'll be able to call the !BEER bot.
Pizza has similar qaulifications for using their bot.
Holding 24 BEER tokens sounds easy, especially with all the BEER comments we see all over the place. Left unsaid is that each time we receive a BEER it arrives in increments of 0.1 BEER. That means you have to get 240 of those things before you can use the exclamation point so that @beerlover can hand out BEER.
That is true, some more info: originally the !BEER bot gave 1 BEER but that was a promo. Instead of doing away with bot, the owner decided to keep the bot but give 0.1 BEER. The beer given comes out of the bots supply not the person who calls it.
That's why you have to have 24 BEER staked in your wallet first. It already arrives in your wallet staked, so you don't need to do anything else.
If you have less than 24 BEER in your wallet (like many of us here), then it's possible to transfer BEER manually from one person to another. This we could always do, although only you and the person receiving beer from you know about this. Likewise with any other token distributed by bots.

Happen to know and hold a lot of tokens of the hive engine. Leofinance for finance or crypto related contents, CTP for entrepreneurship contents, Broadhive also related to crypto and finance, sportstalk for sports related contents, dunk for basketball related contents, list for e-commerce contents and marketplace etc. This is basically the ones I know. There are also dividend/passive income tokens on the hive engine

I only use and knoow POB and Hive, and some times LEO. I think they are good tokens and with time they can grow.
Check your wallet. You'd be surprised at what tokens are in there.
Speaking of surprises I just checked my wallet and saw that overnight I had received 0.00000002 WEED. I had absolutely no idea how that happened!
Then I went back through today's POB TALK and saw that I posted a reply which was part of the discussion started by @vikbuddy about the various tokens.
This just shows that we get tokens unrelated to our own content if it depends on the content of another poster.

I thought you had to use the token tag in your own post or comment for you to earn it. That's not the case. My earning of the token is incidental and by accident.
