Basically you got to learn to swim.
It really depends on how far from shore you are.
Those close to shore would benefit from swimming but if you are out in the middle of the ocean you will survive longer but just lying still and let the current float you somewhere.
Oh!!! I really want to go out for a swim now. The weather is perfect but my pool is too small.
