RE: We're all POB Curators

in Proof of Brain4 years ago

Regardless of whether we are whales or not, @calumam... We are all curators when we dedicate ourselves to reading a post and promoting some kind of engagement.

Many users have the idea that only whales are curators because they are related to a specific project and this needs to be demystified, because each comment (I mean significant comments) matters... Just like all upvotes (of any value).

People must understand this: The weight of what they have to say matters... As long as it is said in a true and efficient way. Being a curator does not depend on your voting power, but on your willingness to acknowledge someone else's effort.

Sort:

I couldn't agree more. It's a distinction which gets lost on some people when the tokens start getting thrown around and the focus on "what to post for rewards" gets too ingrained. It builds this mentality that assumes that curators are only people who drop the fat votes (this is not always the case of course, I'm just highlighting the mindset of some).

Steering clear of this and highlighting where the true value of POB lies will hopefully help others to see the power they have behind their own vote weight over time.

+20 POB because you know what is up
