Painting Warhammer 40k - Space Wolf Venerable Dreadnoughts get bronze trimmings

I have managed to squeeze in some more painting time on my Dreadnoughts.

These Space Wolf Venerable Dreadnoughts are unique with their option to take a Blizzard Shield and I got these 3D printed from @xenowolfza.

Now I can start doing the details.

There are not complete yet, but they are starting to look like something!

I have picked out the details in Bronze. This is usually my base layer to add gold and together it gives it a rich and dark gold colour. I do not like it too bright gold.

This Dreadnought had been dubbed Braum Wolfsmane! Some more gold details and some work on the wolf pelt.

The Axe is red, this is just a base, it is going to come out flaming/lava-ish.

I have done the bronze on the skull and bracings.

Here is the other side of the weapon. It looks so awesome!

Here is the other Dreadnought's shield. Also a 3D print. This Dreadnought does not have a name yet. I will need to ask @merenludick for some help on that one!

This Dreadnought's Axe shall be a massive Frost Weapon. Some of the Space Wolves have energized glacial ice, the powerfield and the odd glacial ice from Fenris combine to make a chilling weapon that does not melt. I think it might have something to do with Helfrost technology which is a unique Space Wolf ranged weapon.

Honestly, the Men of Iron and the relationship between the Fenrys Fenrika predates the establishment of the Imperium and thus there is some mysterious technology that only the Space Wolves have mastered!

I am looking forward to getting some more painting sessions in this weekend!
