Fijabi tales of war exploits were told to instill fear and as well, inspire the heart of young men. He was said to be cruel and show no mercy in battles, he says “no survival of war should be left because they will never look kindly on a conqueror, non should be taken as slave because when slaves form a bond, they can slay their owners” hence he takes no prisoners of war. He can render a whole village lifeless.

One faithful day, the greatest king in one of the wealthiest kingdom hired him to fight his battle, this kingdom was very powerful and has great influence on the vassal kingdoms, the king promised Fijabi half of the impending war spoils and the hand of his daughter, the princess in marriage. Fijabi accepted the offer and travelled to the kingdom to prepare for the war, he trained the soldiers on tactics that guarantees victory.

Fijabi was victorious in the battle of the Groove and the great king fulfilled his promise and even added more. Part of the kingdom was given to the princess as dowry, the main purpose of this bounties given to the warlord by the great king was to ensure that he stays in his kingdom so that he can become part of his family and build strong allegiance with his kingdom.

The princess was known as the goddess of beauty. She was dark skin with bright and huge saucer eyes that never dim, her long graced neck matches her body perfectly, she was plump with a shiny ebony skin, her skin glows with years of pampering with Shea butter and oshe dudu (African Native Soap).

The wedding was the talk of every kingdom, it was a massive display of wealth with pomp and elegance, kings from all over the kingdom were in attendance, the nobles were in full splendor bearing gift of gold and fineries. The great King was very happy to have him as part of the family and kept talking about his numerous war of conquests. Those who have never seen him before were marveled at his prowess and refer to him as the defendant of the gods and they attribute his war victories to be that of a god.
