What sort of mics do you use? Do you have each drum on a separate channel?
I record everything on individual tracks. On the snare drum I use two shure sm57s, one on top and one on bottom, for kick drum Audix D6 inside and a Neat King Bee outside. AKG 414 on toms, Akg 214 on Hi Hat, two ribbon mics as overheads, one Akg 414 + one ribbon mic for the room. 😎
Cool stuff. I'm looking at a simpler solution for my needs that I should get soon and then I'll post about it.
