Good Day FungiFriday Lovers! On this Friday, I would like to come up with fascinating mushrooms that I accidentally found long ago somewhere around the wood. It's one of the big mushrooms that I've ever found, the cap is likely soft and easy to break but tough. It has captivated look that badly tempted me to take the shot. So, after some time searching for its name, it finally comes up with Picipes melanopus or Polyporus melanopus species that commonly grows on the deadwood. This species of mushroom has a brown velvety cap while the stipe has a dark brown felt covering. It's included in inedible mushrooms, and dare not to take them home for food. These pics of mushrooms are going to be the weekly #FungiFriday challenge, initiated by @ewkaw.
