In the Bukit Rata valley, it's still all about mushrooms. If I shared bristly tropical cup mushrooms or Cookeina tricholomaAn Exciting Trip to the Land of Mushrooms on last week's #FungiFriday (), I'll be sharing another mushroom catch here on this week's #FungiFriday.
These are some fairy inkcap mushrooms (Coprinellus disseminatus) that were also found in the Bukit Rata valley's damp forests. Some of them are clusters of juvenile mushrooms, while one mature mushroom has blossomed and has a considerably higher stem than the juveniles.
I'm not exaggerating when I say the Bukit Rata valley is a mushroom paradise since there are so many different kinds of mushrooms there. Other mushroom species will, of course, be featured on #FungiFriday next week.
Happy #FungiFriday! 😉
