This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw
Today I want to decorate #FungiFriday again with some photos of mushrooms I found in the forest while I was hunting bugs a few days ago. Previously I rested under a shady sengon tree, a few moments later I saw several small branches of the sengon plant that had grown mushrooms.
As seen in the photo above are two types of mushrooms that grow on sengon twigs, and those are the mushrooms that I share in this post. As for the two types of mushrooms that I mean, one of them is the Pycnoporus cinnabarinus mushroom. This mushroom, also known as cinnabar polypore, belongs to the Polyporaceae family.
Then there is the hairy bracket (Trametes hirsuta). Besides liking to grow on dead wood branches, this mushroom is also a fungus that can survive in the hot summer.
