Fungi Friday - Mushroom town on the edge of a cliff

in FungiFriday6 days ago

Hi mushroom lovers, today I want to participate again in the #FungiFriday challenge organized by my brother @ewkaw.

I thought this week I wouldn't find a single mushroom because it's summer right now, but how lucky I am because in the past two days it has been raining continuously which has allowed mushrooms to grow again in the forest, today I managed to find a mushroom growing on a coconut leaf stem, according to my search on the internet with a visual match, this type of mushroom is called Lentinus Brumalis Mushroom.

Of course this mushroom made me very interested, and when I found this mushroom it seemed like this mushroom had been growing for a long time and now it was starting to look dry, maybe because the rain that fell in the past two days made this mushroom still survive until today, this mushroom also only grows alone, the stem of this mushroom is white with the upper petals brown like dry leaves.

Then I also found another beautiful mushroom species today that is no less beautiful, the second mushroom I found today is called the Coprinus Mushroom, this mushroom is pure white with elongated colopas and looks like there are feathers like chicken feathers on the mushroom petals.

I found this mushroom on a coconut tree trunk that had been cut and exposed to rainwater, of course this beautiful mushroom grows in clusters which makes it look very beautiful, if you look at it at a glance, this mushroom looks like it grows on a steep cliff and they grow together like a family.

Luckily I found this mushroom at the right time because some of the other mushrooms around it looked like they were starting to wilt.

These are two beautiful mushroom species that I can share with my friends this Friday, thank you to my friends who have visited my post.

How wonderful it was raining these summer days, and it was so good for the growth and maintenance of these beautiful mushrooms.
