Hi Fungi Friday Community friends, how are you all friends today? Hope everyone is healthy and fine. Today is mushroom day, the day we've all been waiting for. I have prepared some pictures of mushrooms that I have got, even I found some challenges to get these mushrooms. If the problem of insect disturbances may be normal, what's more, these mushrooms are in the forest, but another challenge is that these mushrooms are on the edge of a riverside where it is rather difficult for us to take pictures.
Geastrum Mushroom
I was almost disappointed because when cleaning the area around the mushrooms accidentally made the mushroom petals which resemble the shape of a leaf become cracked or broken, these mushrooms were really fragile. I tried to clear the pile of rotting leaves and dry grass.
Finally I tried to find the fungus again among the rotting leaves, I am now very careful when cleaning the grass and leaves so that when I get another mushroom it doesn't damage the mushroom again.
After a while I managed to get another mushroom and lifted it carefully.
This very unique shaped Fungi is really very fragile and easy to break, but unlike the middle I touched it and it was very soft and flexible.
The rounded center is not easily broken and of course if we don't press it too hard. Gradually the shape returns to its original shape while the leaf-shaped parts are not flexible and break easily.
Grigit Mushroom (Splitgill mushroom)
I found this mushroom growing on the midrib of a coconut and it seems to have grown today because the condition of the fungus is almost dry or wilted.
In this picture, it can be seen that this mushroom grows in large numbers and is a bit larger than its usual size (which I usually find) maybe because it has been raining for several days so this mushroom is growing prolifically.
Thank you Admin for providing this wonderful medium, where we gather on Friday.
Thank you also to all my friends who have attended, I hope you all like this post. See you again.
