Two Types of Mushrooms from Hunting This Time -Fungi Friday

in FungiFriday6 days ago

Hi #FungiFriday Community Friends wherever you are, good evening everyone. How are you today? Hopefully all friends are fine and can carry out their activities as usual. I feel very happy to be here again together with all my friends.

This time I am sharing some pictures of mushrooms that I managed to get while hunting a few days ago.
I found these fungi growing on dead plant parts, one of which grew on the roots of areca palm trees. This orange-colored mushroom looks beautiful and grows abundantly on the roots of the areca palm trees that have been cut down.

The images I am sharing are My Contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw

The top of this mushroom is orange and the surface is smooth with the sides being cream colored. The bottom of the mushroom is cream colored and the outer side looks lighter in color. The combination of color and shape has made this mushroom look very interesting and I photographed it several times from different angles to get a good picture.

The second mushroom I found was different from the first mushroom even though the color was almost the same, both were orange but the second one was slightly darker in color. The top surface of this mushroom is hairy and not slippery like the first mushroom, fine hairs grow all over the top surface of the mushroom. I think the color is more light brown than orange, but whatever the color, this mushroom looks beautiful, especially when photographed like this.

This fungus grows on jackfruit tree trunks that have long fallen and are now in the process of rotting. The bottom of this mushroom looks very different from the first mushroom. If the bottom of the first mushroom was smooth, then this mushroom looks like lots of small holes visible all over the bottom of the mushroom.

However, if we look at the appearance of these mushrooms, they are both beautiful and still very fresh and fertile. In some time the mushrooms will dry and it is possible that other parts of the fallen tree will grow.

OK, all friends, thank you for coming to my post this time, I hope you like it and feel entertained.

Good morning dear friend @dzaky12

What a beautiful mushroom, I agree that the combination of colors is what makes it look so attractive

I appreciate you letting us know these beautiful photographs

Mushrooms are always beautiful, both in color and in shape. There are characteristics of each type, especially if there is a harmonious combination of colors, it will be an added value. Thank you for your comment, my friend @jlufer. Hope you have a nice day too.
