This is my entry for #FungiFriday initiated by @ewkaw
This time I was a little bit lucky for this Fungi Friday post. Because I don't have to go far to find these fungi. And also I find them in only one almost degraded stick/branch.
I don't really expect to see these many fungi in one place moreover the way I found the branch is when I try to clean up a small section in my front yard under the frangipani tree. It seems that this time my laziness pay me well. Apparently, I forgot to clean this small branch a very long time ago, and it is almost halfway into total compost.
I can't find all of the names of the fungi that I found, but luckily I found two of them thanks to google lens. 🤣 🤣 🤣. I can't identify the other two since it is not matching with the one Google suggest.
The first one is Physarum viride, a small guy with a yellow colored cap, and some of them have cracks like very dry skin.
And in the photos below you can see them side by side with the next species of fungi. This one has a red color cap, and what is interesting is that they look like uncombed person's hair, or like a tree.
The name of this fungi is Arcyria denudata and I really like its shape. so fascinating.
Next is a slightly bigger fungus. It looks like splitgill, but surely it is not splitgill since it has a darker color, and its shape is more like a clam.
And the last one is more likely a slime mold, but I am not really sure since google suggests hail photos for reference. 😂😂
