This is my entry for #FungiFriday initiated by @ewkaw
When I was planning to visit this new hunting area, I was thinking that I will be able to see so many mushrooms, as the place look like a good place for the mushroom to grow, but apparently, I was wrong. And the result of that outing was not that great, because the reality hit me harder, especially crumbling my high expectation. Well, when you go to Nature, I guess it depends on her mood to give you the things that you deserve to photograph.
I managed to find a few mushroom though, but as I said it was not as great as I was expected.
The first one I have maybe the deadman finger's mushroom, and there is only one that was growing maybe the rest has been taken away. hahaha or maybe the fingers have also been. . . dead.
Despite that fact, this one below when I took the photo from this angle, it look like the mushroom was giving you the middle finger gesture. Maybe kind of telling me, "you are out of luck!" hahah
See, it even looks like it has eyes. Can you believe the deadman fingers could have eye as well. just kidding.
Then I have these small fungi that are growing on the decomposing branch. it just looks like dirt, but it is actually some tiny mushroom growing and doing its work decomposing the branch.
Then for the last species for today, I have this hard mushroom, The upperside of this mushroom look just an ordinary and boring one, with some white color of its edge, and the brown to golden in the inner part of the mushroom.
But what is interesting is the underside of this mushroom, it look like the holes in some of the coral species, certainly interesting isn't it?

Even though it didn't live up to your expectations, some of the mushrooms you did get were amazing, especially your spectacular macro photography.

I'm so sorry it wasn't the place for mushrooms you hoped for. However, the mushrooms you found are fantastic.
The dead man's fingers are very striking.
Thank you so much, dear friend @ekavieka, for sharing this experience.
haha, they are beautiful yet peculiar a little bit. thank you so much my friend, and have a great day ahead.
I am sorry for the late replay my friend.

Oh wow, that one at the end does look like coral! Are you sure it was not underwater!
I believe it is not underwater, but maybe they are drawn from the abundance of oxygen above the water. !LOLZ !PIZZA
