A memorable autumn of 2022 when the temperature, rain, and everything else aligned so perfectly for the mushrooms to grow. They took their chance and were growing like crazy everywhere! Different kinds next to each other, large colonies of the same type... all wanted their 5 minutes and a chance to spread as many spores as possible.
I took my chance to shoot as many as possible, too. And these little ones were the most common ones to see. Millions of tiny little white hats spread through the forest. It was a beautiful view when you just looked around, and quite rare. It was impossible for me to photograph them all, even though I tried. Oh, I tried very hard, and so I have dozens and dozens of photos with these little guys.

No sticks or needles would stop them, and they would push through no matter what. Small but mighty :)
And all the rough textures around them make them look even more delicate.
Can you spot the nasty mosquito?
Bonus shots: the autumn leaves are all bitten up by some hungry little beast. They have so many holes that they start to look like intricate lace.

Wow! They look so beautiful more like you knew their “angles”
They look very beautiful, they are undoubtedly a wonder of nature. I understand that mushrooms have the ability to connect under the ground and form a kind of neural network, sometimes I think they are like elves with hats. Very beautiful photos, even the mosquito wanted to be the protagonist jjjjj
Greetings 🍄
Sweet fungi shots @ewkaw friend!!!!

what a great shoot, dear😍
The flight of the
bumblebeemosquito 🦟 😁I guess all the forest looked like having a carpet with many many white spots
Those are really really stunning!
Wow! I am absolutely blown away by these pictures
You are really good at this and know all the best angles
A season like this, I think is the dream of every mushroom hunter, finding large quantities and colonies of precious mushrooms.
Beautiful specimen, and what beautiful shots, I appreciate that you have let us know
Have a great weekendGood morning dear friend @ewkaw
Those are the cutest little mushrooms.
I love those leaves too. Nature's leaf art.
The bug-bitten lace-like leaves are pretty cool 👌🏻
I haven't seen many mushrooms here in Ireland for a good while.
I just love the way you shot this. ❤ Your gallery is amazing !
The fungi kinda looks like the Ending Banner art you have. Kewk
I see those leaves all the time here. Yeah probably insects checking on it, at first it was caterpillars. Turns out maybe a beetle or ants.
That one leaf has more "hole" than "leaf" to it lol
You have taken wonderful pictures and it looks so refreshing to see them. I like these strange beauties of nature. ❤️
👍
The hundreds of mushrooms that grow there are very beautiful, I really like seeing every mushroom that grows well there, tropical forests always have hidden gems in them, extraordinary
Gorgeous photos as always. Love it.
