It is my habit to look for mushrooms on Wednesdays for stock photos on Fridays.
Cool this time! what I found was that the slugs were eating the fungus that was visible from the leaf chambers. It was on a fallen tree covered in grass. This slug may have climbed up the grass to reach the top of a fallen tree that was as high as my chest.
This back wound snail looks very hungry. This can be seen from the way they eat the mushrooms and almost all the mushroom caps are eaten.
Surrounding the entire body of the mushroom looking for the tastiest one. From left to right walking slowly looking for which side its can devour.
Several photos of other Polyporus mushrooms also grow side by side but not on the stem but on the branches.
