Fungifriday || two types of mushrooms that I found this morning when planting chilies

Good night everyone β˜•πŸ„

This is my contribution to the #fungifriday contest organized by @ewkaw

in this contest I want to show several portraits of mushrooms that I found in the garden this morning while planting chilies, since 2025 I have preferred planting various types of plants ranging from oil palm, coffee, papaya, turmeric, bananas and chilies, this is my activity in 2025 which I do with passion and love.

The place where I planted chilies this morning was a garden that I had just cleaned a month ago. Previously, in this garden, there was a lot of Robusta coffee planted by my father, but as time goes by and the influence of the age of the plants, now the coffee is no longer optimally productive, so I decided to cut down all the existing coffee trees and plant new coffee.

not far from the location where I planted chilies, there was a large coffee tree that had rotted and around it there were lots of dry leaves, on the side of the coffee tree a very beautiful species of fungus was growing, and to be honest, this type of fungus was still foreign to me and this was the first time I had found them.

This is the first mushroom I found when planting chilies this morning.

This mushroom has a striking color among the organic waste and grows in small groups, another interesting thing about this mushroom is its bright color and soft mushroom texture, so far I don't know about the ins and outs of mushrooms, the mushroom cap is flat and thick, the medium sized mushroom stem stands upright and supports the mushroom firmly, this in my opinion is perfect.

not far from the location of the first mushroom that I found, there was another coffee tree there and it was also dead, from a distance it was very clear that all parts of the tree were growing with beautiful mushrooms, I approached to capture several photos of them to share with all of you.

This is a photo of the second mushroom that I found when planting chilies this morning

The second type of mushroom that I saw this morning is a species of mushroom that is very popular, this is the Lingzhi mushroom which is known as the immortality mushroom in the history of traditional Chinese medicine. This mushroom has been consumed and used from time to time because it is believed to contain high antioxidants.

These mushrooms grow in circles all over the trunk of the dead coffee tree, they grow parallel and form an arrangement like a mountain ladder and create a very beautiful view, I don't want to ignore this moment, I took out my phone and captured several photos of the mushrooms to share with all of you.

Thank you very much for reading my mushroom blog today, see you in the next #fungifriday post & have a nice day 😍

Hello @lightofhope

You are doing a great job in your father's garden planting coffee trees, I hope you have much success

How great that you found these beautiful mushrooms when planting chili

Your photographs are beautiful

Dear honey, thank you very much for your kind words, I also wish you success there 😍

Second mushroom look like something ready to eat in my plate πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

yeah, but the texture of the mushroom is very hard, I think before eating it you have to boil it for a while so that it becomes soft πŸ˜„
