Fungi Friday | Fight for a place to survive.

in FungiFriday2 years ago

Life is hard my friend, if you are not able to fight and compete then your life will end tragically.

This does not only apply to humans, but also applies to all living things on the surface of this earth.

If you are a hunter in the wild, then of course you often see how intense the competition is to survive there.

Today as my contribution to #fungifriday by @ewkaw, I'm going to show you all how mushrooms in the wild survive against such a " vicious " nature.

One way for mushrooms to survive in the wild is by fighting over the best place to grow and survive in the midst of nature and "fierce" weather.

One of the best places for fungi to survive is the oil palm plantation, in this place they are fighting for space to grow in groups, not without reason, this is because the weather and humidity in the oil palm plantations are quite normal and often get along well with the fungi.

look at the mushroom hunting location that I often visit......

Even though it hasn't rained in a few weeks, the weather in the oil palm plantation is quite friendly to nature there, maybe this is one of the reasons for the mushrooms to fight for space there in order to survive.

even my friends also come with me to witness how the fungus here survives.

A bunch of mushrooms grow on the palm trunk, I don't know exactly how they can climb the 2 to 3 meter palm trunk, maybe it's their struggle to survive in a humid place.

Their immune system which is classified as vulnerable to extreme weather causes them to be reluctant to live on the ground, preferring to build palaces on palm trees.

They jostled each other, as if afraid of not getting a place.

Their body resistance is slightly better, they prefer to grow directly on the ground, even fighting over places with dry grass and weeds.

This mushroom does not really depend on water and humidity for its life, considering that this mushroom continues to thrive, even in the middle of the dry season.

Although it should not be consumed, the presence of this mushroom is a special attraction for mushroom lovers and mushroom hunters in the wild.

that's all from me today, hope you like it.

See you next Friday

Greetings from me
