Hello there, fellow mushroom hunters. This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw.
Third consecutive "Saturday two weeks ago", still in the same forest. I even took almost the same path as previous week, with the exception of the very start, where I chose to go slightly longer way, which gave me first bolete.
You shall not pass!? Nah, barely an inconvenience.
Look at those freshly baked buns, still sprinkled with flour :o)
It is strange how the forest stayed the same, but completely different mushrooms showed up.
Previously fly agarics started to appear, but they filled the forest in just a week.
Both single specimens as well as groups like that were everywhere.
Another type of abundant mushroom, growing in large fairy rings.
I didn't poke that one, but I'm pretty sure all those colored lumps are slime mold.
Near the place where I previously found saffron milk caps, a different milk cap appeared.

Xylaria - one of my favorites.
I got deceived by that one - I was sure it is just a small leccinum, with cap bumpy either from old age or too much water, but no...
I should have looked at the leg - here is proper, but old, specimen.
Young red caps were also present, but nowhere near as numerous as previous week.

So what did I pick? I've managed to bring enough saffron milk caps to fill a sink - small ones ended up marinated, big ones fed the family for two days.
I've also picked enough leccinums, boletes and porcinis (not pictured) to make base for absolutely delicious cream soup for three days. So yes, another fruitful hunt.
I have some more material from last weekend as well, so expect fourth part :o)
This must be the biggest group of fly agarics I have seen. I am not very lucky finding these.

I know couple of places where I could easily fill some baskets full of those red beauties if they were edible, but that one place was really densely packed with them :o)

The forest is an open nature and mushrooms grow well and diversely there. You managed to find several different types of mushrooms, but after I noticed the mushrooms you managed to get they looked big, does that depend on the place?
And my favorite mushroom this time is the warty hairy mushroom, it looks strange but has a very unique shape♥️
