Hi how are you, hope you are having a great day and are doing well wherever you are. Today I am back to prepare some beautiful mushrooms that I will be featuring in the #FungiFriday Community hosted by @ewkaw today.
Two days ago I got some mushroom species that I wanted to capture on this Friday. And the first one I found was a pair of Pezizaceae mushroom species, and at that time I saw it growing well on a pile of rotten wood that had been overgrown with green moss that looked very unique. And at that time I immediately approached it and took some portraits of pictures that looked very beautiful and graceful, and you can see below some portraits of this mushroom species.
This mushroom has a shape that looks very unique and interesting because this species of mushroom has a body shape like a cup, and has fine hairs that look very unique and beautiful with a pink color that looks very beautiful to look at, and this mushroom usually grows well on piles of dead and damp wood, and hopefully you like some of the portraits that I took two days ago on the cocoa plantation.
The Pezizaceae (commonly referred to as cup fungi) are a family of fungi in the Ascomycota which produce mushrooms that tend to grow in the shape of a "cup".....Wikipedia
Then I also found a pair of species of Gymnopilus luteofolius mushrooms that grew well on one of the rotten logs. And the shape of the hat that looks very beautiful with red and yellow colors that look very bright, and as usual I immediately took several different portraits and looked very beautiful, because each species of mushroom has its own characteristics and you can see it below.
Gymnopilus luteofolius, known as the yellow-gilled gymnopilus, is a large and widely distributed mushroom that grows in dense clusters on dead hardwoods and conifers.....Wikipedia
And for the last one and I found this species of Conocybe cap mushroom that looks very beautiful, and this mushroom has a small cap shape with a yellow color that looks very attractive. And at that time I saw it growing well on rotten wood and took some pictures that looked very beautiful and attractive, and you can see below some pictures of this species of cap mushroom.
Conocybe is a genus of mushrooms with Conocybe tenera as the type species and at least 243 other species.....Wikipedia
