Hello Hivers
It's the last Friday in July, and for the last few days, my region has been experiencing very hot weather, one might even say extreme, right now the temperature is 37°c, it's like in the desert, but that doesn't stop me from keep active
This time I will share some pictures of the gill mushroom that I have, this is my contribution to #fungifriday by @ewkaw
These mushrooms grow on a dead log that has been covered by grass, and they form a kingdom on top of it, with several groups of mushrooms.
All the tree trunks are covered with the same fungus, it's just that their size and shape are slightly different, and each has its own group.
This mushroom also belongs to the GYMNOPILUS mushroom type, which is a genus of gill mushrooms that has many types, one of which is this mushroom group, they have an orange color and a very unique shape.
Their size is not too big like other types of Gymnopilus mushrooms, they are medium in size and have a soft body structure
On the right side there are some of the same mushrooms, and when I tried to clean the grass that covered it, I didn't break one of the mushrooms, but because of that accident I could see more clearly how the gills of this mushroom look, and it turns out they have lines and gill segments that are so beautiful
Above is an overall view of a log and the mushrooms growing on it, although at first glance the mushrooms above look different, they are the same type of mushroom and grow at the same time, only they have small clusters and are spaced out between one mushroom and another mushroom, so it looks like there is a difference
Some young mushrooms are also visible and have a slightly different color, they tend to be purple in color, while those that have fully bloomed have an orange color.
Those are some of the best pictures I have, and for now that's all I can share, thank you and see you soon
Note; all pictures were taken with a smartphone camera and edited with lightrhoom + picsart |
