Today, while cycling, I came across some interesting mushrooms growing around the cycle path between Burgas and Sarafovo. Years ago, I had found similar ones in this area, but I hadn't seen them for a long time.
But today, after the rains a few days ago and with the slight warming of the weather, they appeared.

From Wikipedia, I found out that this mushroom is called Coprinus comatus, also known as shaggy ink cap.
When it was young, it looked like this and I understand that it can even be eaten. Around the white young ones there were some that had started to turn black underneath.
But as it gets older, it starts to turn black and becomes inedible.
And there were some that were completely blackened.
Hello, friend. First of all, thank you for your feedback. My husband and I really like picking mushrooms. These mushrooms, in your publication, are very similar to the mushrooms that we collect in our area. We call them "Umbrellas". Because over time they open their "cap". They are edible and we cook them in the form of chops. It is very tasty. But I did not notice that they turn black in our area, unless they are very old mushrooms. Then it is possible. As soon as they start growing in our area, I will immediately make an interesting publication about these mushrooms. So subscribe and follow my posts ) Have a nice day !)
Thank you for your comment 🤗. I followed you. I will await your posts with interest 😍

Awww
That some beautiful shaky ink cap over there.
We eat mushrooms over here too but this particular species is beautiful and even more beautiful when it gets darkens even though it can’t be eaten again like you said. Just a beautiful piece or natural art work. Thanks is for sharing those beautiful shots
