Hi friends! Today I want to share with you another mushroom that I found in my garden - this is blue-green stropharia (Stropharia aeruginosa). This mushroom is quite rare in our region, at least I have seen it only a few times in my life. But I remembered it because of its very remarkable color, because blue mushrooms are very rare. Moreover, it was very surprising to find stropharia in my garden. |

In my mushroom guide, which my wife gave me, it says that Stropharia aeruginosa is considered a conditionally edible mushroom (however, like honey mushrooms), but in America it is considered poisonous. |

The color of the gills in Stropharia can vary from light gray to dark purple (according to the mushroom guide). I turned over one of the mushrooms I found to look at the gills. Their color was somewhere between brown and purple.

| Stropharia blue-green has a rather variable color of the cap. It appears yellowish-bright-green in some mushrooms, bluish-green in others, and yellowish in others. |

I didn't take Stropharia aeruginosa as I wasn't going to test its edibility on myself 🙂 . But, of course, this is an interesting find. |

Wow blue mushrooms 🍄🍄 🔵🔵
😊😊😊
@yetaras This is truly amazing. In all my mushroom hunting, I have never found mushrooms that are green like this.
But these mushrooms exist 😉
I am very interested in the mushrooms you shared, I have never found mushrooms like that in tropical areas. Do they really not exist in Asia?
Honestly, I don't know. I see no reason why they should not grow there
Wow quite rare to see a blue mushroom. At first I though this looked like the blue version of Pholiota polychroa but they grow out of wood only.
Pholiota polychroa is also a very beautiful mushroom, but they do not grow in our region
I read they are starting to be seen in all parts of the northern regions of the world. But they're mainly in North America for now, some have made it to Russia.
Well, I still think that Ukraine is not a northern country, but maybe these mushrooms grow here, but I have never seen them
Probably too far south for Ukraine.
It's good to read you again dear friend @yetaras
What beautiful mushroom varieties have visited you in your garden, allowed you to make some beautiful shots
