Since last week I already knew that on Saturday October 5th I would harvest the Gelato, but rather because from a few days until the end of its cycle it was maturing very fast, the seed houses say that between 60 and 70 days it can be ready but with my method of cutting early at exactly 40 days I cut it, also they also refer that the first days of October is the ideal date to harvest, so with all the signs that I saw of maturation of the plant I did not hesitate twice to cut it in the first days of October.
Always when I run out of cannabis plants on the terrace I have mixed feelings because the routine of caring for the plants is over, plus they are faithful companions every day while you grow them and that makes you feel on the one hand sad and on the other hand with the satisfaction of having harvested and having taken the plant through the whole process and finish successfully, but these feelings are undeniable, I do not know if it's just my personal perception or it happens to all growers?
The important thing is also that we are determined at the time of cutting because that tells us that we already have the eye trained to do it and that is only achieved over time, it is not a matter of 1 or 2 seasons, it can take many years until we learn to cut at its point, I have already spoken with some friends of the community that we are few who cut early, because most of the growers of very old school, sometimes cut the plants very past extremely narcotic that give much sleep and that in my case is not the effect I want to achieve, so I choose to cut earlier, it also happens that the plant in the drying continues to mature and there we add points to harvest earlier.
Last week I did a test to the White Widow and the 9 LB Hammer x Ignite and I really liked the effect of the White Widow very fruity and unique, the 9 LB Hammer is also good but I like where I took the White Widow, pity that the harvest was a little short, because with the good impression that left me, I will have to try it sporadically but well sometimes it is difficult to have it all, but on the test I will make a publication as I said more specific.
The Gelato is already in its drying process and from the closet where it is you can perceive some very interesting aromas especially at night, this detail is indicative that it continues its maturation process, much talk that the Gelato has a super potent effect, even before subjects who already have some mileage testing cannabis, so you have to be careful the first days as a precaution.
This is the end of my growing season, but not of my publications, because I have a lot to say, besides the tests of these excellent genetics that I grew this season and I will be preparing myself to have a better crop next season, I could grow again right now, but I think I have to prepare some pending things before, so that my growing space has better conditions, especially security.

Dia de Cosechar La Gelato: Fin de Una Temporada Compleja, Inolvidable y de Aprendizaje
Desde la semana pasada ya sabía que el día sábado 5 de octubre cosecharia la Gelato, pero más bien porque de unos días hasta su final de ciclo fue madurando muy rápido, las casas de semillas dicen que entre 60 y 70 días puede estar lista, pero con mi método de cortar temprano a los 40 dias exacto la corte, además también refieren a que los primeros días de octubre es la fecha ideal para cosechar, así que con todas las señales que vi de maduración de la planta, no lo dude 2 veces en cortarla estos primeros días de octubre.
Siempre cuando me quedo sin plantas de cannabis en la terraza me quedan sentimientos encontrados porque se termina la rutina de atención de las plantas, además de que son fieles compañeras de todos los días mientras las cultivas y eso hace que te sientas por una parte triste y por otra con la satisfacción de haber cosechado y haber llevado la planta por todo su proceso y finalizar con éxito, pero esos sentimientos son innegables, no se si sea solo mi percepción personal o le pasa a todos los cultivadores?
Lo importante tambien es que seamos decididos a la hora de cortar porque eso nos indica que ya tenemos el ojo entrenado para hacerlo y eso solo se logra a través del tiempo, no es cosa de 1 o 2 temporadas, pueden pasar muchos años hasta que aprendamos a cortar en su punto, ya he hablado con algunos amigos de la comunidad de que somos pocos los que cortamos temprano, porque la mayoría de los cultivadores de muy vieja escuela, a veces cortan las plantas muy pasadas, extremadamente narcóticas que dan mucho sueño y ese en mi caso no es el efecto que deseo lograr, por ello me decanto por cortar más temprano, además también sucede que la planta en el secado sigue madurando y ahí sumamos puntos al cosechar antes.
La semana pasada le hice un test a la White Widow y la 9 LB Hammer x Ignite y me gusto mucho el efecto de la White Widow muy frutal y único, la 9 LB Hammer tambien esta buena, pero me gusta a donde me llevo la White Widow, lastima que la cosecha fue un poco corta, porque con la buena impresión que me dejo, tendré que probarla esporádicamente, pero bueno a veces es complicado tenerlo todo, pero sobre el test haré una publicación como ya lo dije más específica.
La Gelato ya está en su proceso de secado y desde el closet donde esta se perciben unos aromas muy interesantes sobre todo en las noches, ese detalle es indicativo que sigue su proceso de maduración, mucho hablan de que la Gelato tiene un efecto super potente, incluso ante sujetos que ya tienen algun kilometraje probando cannabis, asi que habra que ir con cuidado los primeros días por precaución.
Este es el fin de temporada de mi cultivo, pero no de mis publicaciones, porque tengo mucho que decir, además que vienen los test de estas excelentes genéticas que cultive esta temporada y me estaré preparando para poder tener un mejor cultivo la próxima temporada, podría cultivar de nuevo ahora mismo, pero creo que tengo que preparar algunas cosas pendientes antes, para que mi espacio de cultivo tenga mejores condiciones sobre todo de seguridad.
Me gusta mucho esta comunidad y hasta que siga teniendo fuerzas y mucho que decir seguiré haciendo presencia, porque además también puedo disfrutar de las historias de los otros amigos cultivadores que están haciendo un trabajo de lujo también, espero disfruten de mis palabras porque siempre cultivar es un viaje interesante.

The truth is that I would like to and I have good weather all year round, but first I have to solve some security issues, buy some materials to have the growing area more secure as I mentioned and also with faith that what is happening in the country is resolved and there are some dates stipulated for it.
If I wait for my next season I would start it in April but if I solve some issues before, maybe I will start some more experimental cultivation outside the normal dates just to test, but I am still thinking about it and evaluating it.

Bro estas leyendo el post completo? Ya esta planta esta en el proceso de secado, ni idea de cuantos gramos, pero fue mas leve la produccion, lo que si se es que tendre que ser mas estrategico con este material y lo bueno es que los rumores dicen que la Gelato es potente, asi que quizas me rinda mas.
