Back On The Blockchain

in Canna-Curatelast month

Hello Everyone,

I took a little time off from posting on Hive but now I'm feeling the long term effects of posting withdrawals setting in so it's time to get back to it.

Right now is the perfect time too because I have the biggest cannabis plant of my life currently mid-way through flowering. This is the time when things get exciting in the grow tent and we're able to witness the development of the desired flowers the plant produces.

This is the Crack Mack, a strain created from Green Crack and Big Mack Superstar.

It is not a stabilized strain and thus has a high amount of variance in the phenotypes it produces.

This particular plant is a clone from the first successful female of the Crack Mack genetic line.

What we are witnessing here is a plant on its thirty third day of flowering, in an eight foot wide tent.

It is quite monstrous in size for an indoor plant and I'll likely harvest quite a bit of bud from this clone.

She's held up with two layers of nets, which assisted me in spreading her branch system to become extremely wide and low, and the nets will also aid in supporting girthy heavy buds.

Spreading this plant wide for a low profile is not an easy task considering its sativa dominance. She likes to grow big and tall, but not wide and short.

The result in forcing her to grow in a way that is not natural influenced this immense canopy of buds that is almost eight feet wide.

She is glistening with trichome coverage and her fragrance is a fruity aroma comparable to strawberries.

I'm looking forward to documenting my captures of trichome macro shots this grow. Because of the colder outdoor temperatures in New York this time of year, it is easier for me to achieve lower night time temperatures indoors, which helps promote purpling of the buds.

It's great to be back on Hive, I hope you all have been doing well!

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a great day! -@futuremind

wow amazing plants! My operation is so different, just a few ladies in a big ceramic pots in my backyard. I am vowing to get more serious about the genetics and fertilizing next year. thanks for the inspo!

Thank you!

This is ONE plant! (with a little cayenne pepper plant next to it 😅)

It's amazing how far technology has come for indoor cultivation. I'm happy my grow is giving you some inspiration to get more deeply involved with learning about fertilizers and such. It can be a little frustrating in the beginning, truth be told I still have a lot of learning left to do myself 😅

I'll use this post the next time someone tells me 9 plants are better than 1! 🤣👍

The SCROG net was one of the cheapest but most effective purchases I've made

Thank you @cannaworms 😄 I'm happy to have my post be used as an example for what is achievable with a single plant indoors!

More plants that are smaller does have appeal, but also comes with a higher margin for error to occur. Faster yields versus what can be a very long and patience filled process with a single plant. There's drawbacks to only growing one as well, but overall I somewhat prefer this single plant in a tent method.

It also takes some high output lights to make that happen with one plant too. I have about eight hundred watts at max capacity on her during flowering. Those buds are about to explode in size :)

Agreed SCROG is a relatively cheap but huge upgrade to a grow space, definitely makes a huge difference for training.

Smokin one DANGEROUS BAZOOKA here for ya!

Welcome back savage!

Love the OG gangsta rap :D
Thanks homie ✊

Come on my friend, it's good to have you around. I am also trying to resume now that I finished college (Spoiler finished my career, sure later I will post it).
What a crazy planting my friend, it's all very leafy, the size is really mossy, I hope they count the amount of buds you're going to get later.

Congratulations on the successful completion of your college studies!

Thank you for the welcoming words my friend. Yes this plant is my biggest yet :)

WB!

Looks very tasty.

Thanks!

Plant looks glorious

Thanks @davedickeyyall , my best grow yet :)

Hell ya. This is the biggest plant I have ever seen on hive. Great to see you back to posting. It was nice taking a break for a bit.

Thanks man, this plant is definitely a beast and these buds are probably going to be fat.

Yeah the break was needed lol. It feels good to be back though, and good to see you back too :)

Great job bro! keep up the amazing work! That plant is huuuuuuge!

Thanks bro, she's my best grow yet. Hoping I hit a pound :)

Keep your temps lower during this time and I think you will homie!

Thanks homie! I've been struggling with the temps a bit. The tent likes to go to 90-95. I might have to work out a system to draw some cold air in or not run the main heat and just run some space heaters in the main part of the house.

Yeah temps are very important in budding. You will do great anyhow!

your plant is beatiful :D i know that your buds will be amazing

Thanks man. These buds are about to explode in size :D
