Hello Everyone,
Over a month ago I attempted to clone what is now a big flowering Crack Mack cannabis plant.
Things started off looking really good, but then became stagnant. It was still a fun experiment trying out water rooting from clippings with a design I created and 3D printed. More can be seen on that in the linked post.
I had a total of six clippings and ultimately gave up on the majority of them, disposing of four clippings and choosing to keep a couple that looked decent still.
I placed two remaining clippings in soil with a little rooting hormone powder, and today I discovered that one of the clippings rooted.

This is very exciting because the Crack Mack is a very special plant with very special traits, and a rooted clipping ensures I can indefinitely maintain the cultivar through cloning.

In the photo above are the two clippings. The clipping on the left is the rooted clone, and the clipping on the right has not developed roots yet.
It still looks pretty healthy and capable of root production. I'm hopeful she will produce roots, but if it doesn't happen it is not a big deal because I have secured one rooted clone and that is all that is needed to maintain the clone line.
The Crack Mack I'll report more on in a future post maybe tomorrow, but let's just check out how tall she's getting real quick.

Almost 5 feet tall/1.5 meters, and this is while under a double scrog net. I think she will reach this height and perhaps even surpass it, as she is currently gaining 2 inches/5.08 centimeters per day.
That will do it for today.
What do you all think of cloning plants?
I'd love to read your thoughts in the comment section!
Thank you for stopping by!
Have a good day! -@futuremind
You’re the first person who will make me know about the Crack Mack plant
It looks healthy
I created the Crack Mack.
Thank you @rafzat.
I'm glad you got a clone from it bro! The scrog looks fantastic too! Good job man! 👊
Thank you bro! 👊
I'm wondering if this cultivar would be a good candidate for outdoor grows.
Never hurts to try! 😜
Hell yeah bro! Here is an interesting fact, I was the very first person to do a how to clone post here lol I am old ;)
Thank you bro! That's awesome you made the first cloning post on the blockchain! I bet it seems like yesterday too, the years fly by around these parts ;D
