RE: Grow Report - New Plants!

in Canna-Curate8 months ago

You ise foxfarm full strength on babies? I refused to do that and would use half strength until the first replanting.

Maybe it was bad batches for us.

And the ocean blend stunk bad after a while due to the seafood rotting. I switched away from foxfarm quick.

Great post!

I love Fox Farm products. I used that exact soil before. Results were amazing. I've also used their 3 part flower system of Open Sesame/ Big Bloom/ and Cha-Ching... loved them

Originally? I was big fan. Then got some bad batches and the company let the quality slip. I have a feeling they are getting better.

Personally though. Too spendy for just the package. I can get my nutes way cheaper with better quality.

But still they got some.sweet art.

But the one thing you all don't get to see?

The foxfarm semi with the 10 foot tall supersized buds.

Take that you bunch of stoners .. lol

Yes they have batches that have been rushed. But this is good dirt. I use expensive stuff now, but if I had to go the grow store this would be the soil. But All other fox farm additives are just ok. But to each there own. Keep growing

Especially the early years! Yeah the sea blend was especially notorious. Had one bag of cut down in half and mixed other stuff into it.

No I'm not using any nutrients for at least the first 5-6 weeks or thereabout. Will use the soil nutrients up first then give the plants a boost down the road.

No smells as of yet... I hope that I don't get any either! 😂

Thanks, have a great weekend.

You will find out soon enough if that soil is too hot and will burn the seedlings. Which is what happened to me.

I don't use any fortified soil for babies. And a 1/10th strength nutrients. If any...

Sorry to hear that.. I'll 🤞 and hope for the best.

I thought it a bit much to go full strength like they suggest last time. The numbers were way off on their suggestions, so I started out very low after 6 weeks of no nutrients.

Yeah. Burned once and you remember forever. And I never use fortified soil at the beginning. As a direct result.
