In this region of the world we are still in summer although now the days are incredibly spectacular with temperatures no higher than 26 degrees Celsius and my plants are forming good buds.
You are crazy, they are still in the early stages, relatively very small, but with signs of wanting to form something very large in the long term.
Unfortunately I found that the largest plant I have in the backyard of my house was being attacked by ants. I did not notice this since I recently cut several branches inappropriately because the neighbors can see it and I do not want problems.
At first I thought they were just cut branches but when I looked closely I observed some black dots moving through the branches and then I realized that they are black ants which do not usually represent a big problem when it comes to fighting them but they are usually very persistent when it comes to the plant on which they feed.
To combat this type of pests, one generally uses baits since they carry the baits to the nest, feed and usually die, but I personally prefer to fight them physically because it avoids problems of generating resistance to poisons with future generations and with a stream of boiling water is more than enough to kill them, you simply have to add a large amount and goodbye ants.
I am going to guess they are farming aphids and that is why you are seeing them
Luckily this species of ants does not do that, the worst ant infestation is the red one.
