The Grumpy Cup is a weekend long legacy cannabis /BBQ competition and camping trip and over the years has held residence at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Massachusetts.
You might ask, with all the weed and BBQ, what's there to be so grumpy about? Well ask the dude.
Grumpy, himself aka Phil Lamson. This is his competition along with Micheal Thomasson of Infuzed Productions
(be sure to check out the heavily censored interview video from the event liking and subscribing means a ton)
This will be the third instance of their popular BBQ Bongnanza! One that incorporates education, bbq and opportunities for networking in place of like 1 billion bands, late night raves and wrestling matches held over some number of stages,
JEFF Homan and Ben Bartletts of Toking with the Deads Still Toking Grumpy Cup interview show.

as have become common place in New England's unstoppable alt. Festival scene, where the " interesting event " bar has been set ridiculously high (in a good way).
Grumpy cup is however refreshingly low key. Franklin county Fairgrounds is a beautiful venue as is its Greenfield MA back drop
It wouldn't be a proper cannabis event if there wasn't a cannabis competition, and so of course there was lots of judging going on but in a very non-judgemental way.

Grumpy Cup attracts a number of amazing vendors from the area, folks involved in both kinds of food ( infused and non) as well as artists cultivators and legacy friends.
Gardens by Gilf, Cody Reeves of Mystic Fruits, Beaver Buds, Cody Reeves ofMystical Fruits, GRE Medibles and The Baked Baker gave educational talks on topics including cultivation, operating a small business, farming and psychedelics.
As expected, there was also an auto show and so there were some pretty amazing vehicles in the lot.
A nice mix of modern muscle and vintage design.
Its always great chillin with the homies smoking weed and looking at cool cars. Classic Americana.
One thing I really liked about Grumpy Cup was all the dogs in attendance. Because it was open air and equally spaced out, there was no problem with folks walking around with their puppy pals all day.
There wasn't a slew of bands or deejays,
but the Caylin Costello project came out to perform under a beautiful Saturday Night
The Grumpy Cup experience is a more intimate example of a cannabis competition/event. Because it is a multi-day camping trip, there are plenty of opportunities to catch up with old friends and find like minded new ones.
There were some big names in cannabis as attendees including folks like Rick Naya, Toking with the Dead The Legenday Dougie, Kyle Camrye of Blingin' Beads, Beaver Budz, Tom Rand of Patriots Helping Vets, Gilf and Flash, Baker, Topher, and Sean Patten of Golden Remedies Jake Ganem of Average Joe Grow podcast to name but a few,
plus it was packed with buds from legal cannabis arena. Patriot Care, Bodega, Main Event, Weed Boggs and Nicci Pickles were some of the folks there to lend their support to this great event.
Comedian Sam Buck came through with his stand up gang and they were hilarious. Buck himself closed and he killed it as always.
Of course the homies from Toking with the Dead were in the house
promoting their many excellent (un)dead related projects. In addition to the books and movies they also have a podcast.
The Grumpy Cup and other local cannabis cup events are a great place to get out and relax,
Meet others in the area involved in cannabis
and vote with your dollars for cannabis culture
vs mainstream cultures offerings of industry beer and entertainment.
The Grumpy Cup and Infuzed Productions ... Highly Recommended
I HIGHly would love to attend! lol
