Let's just assume, my device trips and the screen got blind beyond repair. "Oh you need another phone" The engineer concluded. What a heartbreaking news!
I surely would feel overwhelmed but then, if I've gotten the funds to go for a new device there's obviously a few things I would be watching out for. "My go-to feature."
Heaven knows how much of a picture freak I am, but the weird thing is, it is not for self purpose but to capture moments, document the process, take shots of nature and just record for memories sake. Even writing here on Hive, I prefer making use of own photos than downloading. This is because it makes my blog look very unique, "I think so anyway." (Whispers gently)
The first feature I would be watching out for is definitely an awesome camera quality. Please, I don't want my shots looking like I'm in the 80's. I love me a very sharp and brilliant camera quality. Shots that make people doubt if it was self-taken or downloaded hehe, you feel me?
Lately, most of this device have either a good selfie camera and low-back camera quality and vice versa, but I ensure to look out for a device with a reasonable camera quality for both the front and the back.
Of course, a device with good camera and a very little RAM is frustrating, so that device must have a very good amount of RAM cause I can't stand a slow device and not being able to process things at the snap of my finger. I would go for phones with 8GB RAM upwards, and anything below that is a big TURN OFF for me even if the camera quality is pretty nice, a device with low GB RAM? I'm definitely looking away. The online world is now my workspace, there's a lot I do with my device and that's one reason why I wouldn't compromise the GB RAM feature at all.
Lastly, nothing beats having a good battery quality please. We already live in a messed-up country where the power supply is epileptic, so I want me a strong battery for my device. I think a 5000mAh is a good spot and nothing below that will tickle my fancy no matter how stylish and fashionable the device looks.
Last week, my friend almost lost his mind as he charged this phone almost every hour. We both went out to a function and my battery was about 60% when I left home but his was about 80%. Despite having more power on his device, his went low withing a few hours and he kept charging with his power bank but mine still had a reasonable amount of power until I got home. Phones that needs lifesupport is a huge turn-off for me. I want to be at peace with my device once it's charged and please whatever you do in this life, ensure to get a device that charges fast. Don't even get me started on devices that takes forever to charge only to go low after a few hours later.
In summary, a good camera quality, reasonable GB of RAM and battery quality are my go-to features when I need to get a new device.
Images used belong to me.

I hear you there! I seems like so many devices come with the operating system taking up huge parts of the memory. And the more memory a device has the more expensive they tend to be. I need to upgrade mine but the top of the line is over $1000 and I'm not paying that much money. It's a challenge to find one with enough memory and a good camera!

It's truly a challenge to find a good device with enough memory and good camera quality . Woohoo. $1000 is way expensive.

8 GB is an interesting preference. Better safe than sorry anyway. What phone in particular meets these needs of yours?
The Samsung s24 ultra
Good choices and I love the camera quality best.
Nice to hear
