Welcome to my blog once again, it was a very lively weekend for me, I really had fun, and I am sure you did.
Digital lifestyle community are curious to know how long my device battery lasts and how I get by daily. Just read down, and you will get the answer.
Currently, I use Tecno Spark 7p and I have been using it for over four years now, it's actually very old and this reflects on how long the battery can last, the battery capacity is 5000mAh and when it is new it can last for two days or more, there was no need for power bank then, but now my phone is old so it barely last for 5 hours, in fact, my consistency in using it for my hive blogging and other things reduces it to 3 hrs.
Most times, when am away from home, so I will have to stay offline till I get home and charge it. I have just been managing it with the thought of getting a new phone with good battery capacity and other good features, but unfortunately, even to date I have not been able to get a new phone due to financial instability.
So since I have not been able to get a new phone and I need my device to be on for me to be active on the Hive and other online businesses that I do, I got myself my first power bank which is 10000 mAh, I was using it to support my device battery and this has helped me not to be offline at any point in time.
Tho in Nigeria even people with good phones also have power banks because power supply is not steady and can not be trusted.
There was a time when our area was out of power for two weeks. I was forced to get a mini inverter and an extra power bank because the battery device got weak as the day passed by.
Currently, the battery of my device can barely last for two hours, that's how bad it has become, so if I am at home, I will likely be charging every two to two hours but if am outside I will use my power bank to recharge it.
So am strictly saving some money to see if I can get another smartphone, the only challenge is that good smartphones with good battery capacity are very expensive, and buying the lesser ones is as good as wasting money, so maybe in the next two months I will be able to get a smartphone phone if possible, but if not I will continue recharging this one every hour till I get some money to get a good phone.
That's the story of me and my device, thank you everyone.
