Unwinding myself after a stressful day

Greetings my good people, trust your weekend went well. Yes mine was blessed with a heavy downpour. There has not been rainfall for the few weeks. We were experiencing a very strong heat wave that even plants are withering. But the month of june welcome us with a very clement, refreshing weather, we are grateful to the creator. Plants and animals have heaved a sigh of relief, we are now free from heat stress.

The world is full of stress. Especially in my locality there social unrest, added to the economic stress world wide. In an holiday just observed few weeks back, social unrest erupted and some official governmental securities were shot dead by unknown attackers, this raised a very severe chaos in the area. The surviving security agencies raised agitation, innocent citizens became the most vulnerable ones intimidated and injured. Even the local markets were locked, for six day, no business. Families who depend on transacting in the market for a living were in more anxiety as to how they would provide for the family. What a stress! Even the transport system were at risk, Infact, it was a minor battle.

As a working mum, am not free from stress. You know how mothers work round the clock to care for the house. Raising little kids can bring tiresome. Especially when you want to raise them to be responsible. Then comes the normal daily house chores: doing the dishes, the laundry, arranging and cleaning the house, preparing the kids to school, helping them with their schoolwork and lots more, and the circle continues going round and until the kids grow up to helping out in the house.
What about my work? The poultry farm. Yes. By the time their doors are open, they have already piled up with their demanding cries for food, water and more ventilation . Then comes from workers inconsistencies and non chalant attitude, that one is topic of another day. I also have to deal with pressures from customers, seeking for selfish gains.
In all these, how do i unwind? How do i shake off stress? How do i pamper myself as someone's daughter?
First, I resolved not to carry any stress related aggression home or transfer it. As i am washing my legs and face, preparing for go home, am also washing off bad energy alongside. So according to circumstance at hand, i may choose to trek a short distance before taking the transport system. Doing so helps me to feel the cool evening fresh breeze as i reflect on the day's activities and think of ways to adjust for better.

Another way is by running round with my kids as they try to welcome and hug me on my arrival, i keep skipping their hugs and run around. The laughter and joy that fills the atmosphere is thrilling, after that iwill enjoy any chop i bring back home-so refreshing. As i munch my share, i enter my garden to see how my vegetables are doing. After the evening chores, i read this favorite book of my daughter. The book is full of interesting stories about humans, animals, and flowers. I also like playing with my petdog (tiger) even though he ays roughly but I do enjoy his reaction when I express hurtful feelings.Finally i will take my shower, watch few comedies online like real warri pikin comedies, mc mbakara, and the rest, then i will sleep.
