MY GO-TO FEATURE FOR NEW TECH

I think that it depends.
You know, like, it depends on what one wants to do with the gadget. The specs that might satisfy one person may not do it for another. It's not a one-size-fits-all.

Say, if I'm not very tech savvy or just don't do heavy stuff, I could go along with just any fair enough device. Not very many people are even concerned or know very much about specs asides the very basic necessities. Even then, they barely know them for what they see than for their actual capacities.

I don't have just one feature that appeals to me when it comes to my gadgets. I can't go for a phone with a good display and not check out battery life. There are a number of them. I need to make sure there's a balance between my needs at least.

For me, in getting a laptop or a phone, I pay attention to battery capacity, storage, screen display, processor and camera. I may not mind the battery capacity, though, if I get the other specs right, but good thing, there's always sone gadget that would meet my demand.

I mean...

Storage is very important. Because I'm doing lots of stuff and need optimal functioning, it is to be considered. In a way, low storage affects speed, altering functionality, so the higher storage memory, the better for me.

For processors, particularly on my phone, I would usually go for ones with Snapdragon 860 and above. I cannot deal with a device that lags or slows down pace. That is so frustrating, I know firsthand, as I've had my experience.

Since I do a lot of picture taking, a phone with amazing camera quality is important to me too.

I do quite some reading up and learning about gadgets, their specifications and performances and have some good knowledge on a lot of these devices. It feels good to have moved from getting a device just because it's 'good and fine' to actually knowing them in-vivo.

So, that's about the basic features I look out for when I'm getting a new device.

Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!

You do have to weigh many aspects to find the right balance, if you even care at all. How long must the battery at least last for you?

For my phone, anything from 7+ hours is fair enough with data and/or heavy usage

For my laptops, I've mostly had to do 4+ hours(pretty short time, I know).

Sounds fair enough. By the way, you may want to check out our BIG announcement.

Battery capacity is a must check for me. I don't want to deal with low battery after little work with my gadgets with the kind of poor electricity supply in our country. Indeed the processor is something vital to consider as well because a lagging phone can be quite frustrating
